Similar - just watched as short of time y/s. Front five went well, and the backs, apart from slippery ball (not) catching, were the difference imo. BackRow disappointing and out muscled.
He is a winger at Super Rugby level (for now) imo - FB at school was fine with a go forward pack, and smaller bodies to contend with in the tackle.
He needs to learn how to tackle lower, and stay out in defence - he has that schoolboy tendency to step in too early, rather than trust the man inside to...
Leinster vs Northampton - 82300 at Croke Park sell-out for a Club (Province) game.
Final to be played at Spurs, ironically with a 63,000 capacity.
Stuff of dreams for Super Rugby.
Plus the problem with such forward planning - next season injuries can and do happen, and when you write off a previous season in expectation of rewards in the next season - it unravels quickly.
TSC could have taken last season seriously, and been competitive - ultimately it is the players...
TSC used most of last season as their trials - playing many Y11s to prepare them for an unbeaten season this year. They won a couple of games at the back end of last season when they beefed up their backline with some Y12s.
"Physically bashed from minute 1 - just like the Junior Wobblies - because we have pathways narrower than a paper straw."
And those (NSW) pathways awash with Cronyism, blocking talent - but some do slip through the net on merit.
