The complete lack of patience from the Wallabies was the most frustrating aspect for me even allowing for those two gifted tries. You cannot expect to score tries off every phase but that seemed to be our predominant mindset.

Much appreciated, OldColt. Sounds like plenty for the Gordon coaches/players to work on both in the set piece area and in attack.
Their assignment doesn't get any easier next Saturday with their clash against Syd Uni.
Southern Districts had a more difficult draw coming into yesterday's match against Gordon and maybe they were entitled to favouratism, although I didn't see the 40-0 away victory coming.

That may well be true. However, HJ's contributions (unlike some of us) weren't limited to the myopic prism of his sons' exploits in heaven's game. Ah no, his heavy footprints were cast far and wide across an array of threads & topics.

Easy to disregard that enquiry, Just checked the Gordon website (should've checked before posting ;)) and read that the trials today were cancelled due to the weather. Hard to gain any wet weather experience in Sydney.
Great team effort. Very committed in defence throughout. Agree that they deserve much more media exposure (I know that G&GR excels in this dept).
Charlotte Caslick, in particular, was immense throughout. There's fantastic team spirit within this women's side - hope it's inspirational for the men.
