Totally. By way of example with forfeits, byes and washouts the Knox 14As only played 7 games this year. Tough to grow a programme when you are playing half a normal schedule.

After the way CAS played today not sure you can justify 10 GPS starters. I think both CAS locks deserve to be there, as well as Heath Turner - the CAS 8 - maybe at #6 and Max Roach at #11. Also Tovia from Cranbrook had a blinder at #12.

CAS 13-0. GPS look worried now.

OP is referring to the u16s final - tomorrow 2:30pm. CAS looked v good against GPS 2 but I fear that GPS 1 will have too much firepower in their backs, though CAS may have edge in tight 5.

As a CAS parent, GPS A look ridiculously good. Intensity, skill, control, great support play. Maybe the set piece is the only thing to improve but they should win this thing in a canter.

CAS over CCC 27-0. Good game for the hookers, 1 try to the Trinity 2 and 2 to the replacement hooker from Knox.

Counterpoint from a Knox perspective. The Knox forwards has been brilliant this year. Unfortunately for the Waves game 3 of the starting pack were out, including the 2 props and an influential back-rower. The two props have been massive and both would have been up for rep honours if not for...

Unfortunately 2 of the 3 starting backrowers for Knox have been injured / unavailable for CAS, but Heath Turner is a gun #7 and will make CAS, as well as Dylan Hall as fullback who must be the fastest schoolboy in NSW having clocked a 10.8 last year.

The Canberra idea is interesting but I don't see if flying and would get strong push back from ACT rugby. The ACTJRU comp integrates schools and clubs into one competition, with the big rugby schools (Eddies, Marist, Daramalan) playing with the local clubs (including large, strong clubs like...

How good would it be to see Jarah and Archie running off Katoa? that would give even the best GPS sides some real headaches.

My son was at the game tonight. Knox fielded players from their firsts and seconds interchangeably and came away pretty easy winners - around 50-0. Apparently a significant gap in size. Knox does have some big units this year.

It is so hard to tell after limited rugby last year. Barker had a couple of superstars in year 12 last year that have moved on, but they still have Katoa at flyhalf who looks the business (though I heard he has signed with an NRL club - another loss to the game) and I believe have some good new...

I don’t think the above is correct re a blue card. If a player gets a blue card then they can’t take any further part in that game. They then have to be assessed by a doctor. If a doctor diagnoses a concussion then the 19 day protocol starts. If no concussion is found then the player is free to...

Good luck to Luke Reimer from Barker who is on for his debut for the Brumbies tonight.
