Agree with all you said. It was all a bit immature and amateur-ish for mine. Set piece is a concern. Seems to me that the gap between OZ and NZ teams is still significant.

Still should be a minimum number of games (6) played in that team to be eligible if coming down the grades. In regards to Colts, they still should have benched or played a min of 6 games during the season in that team. Without something like this, I can see the situation getting ridiculous.

Agreed. This "stacking" strategy has gone on for years. I think the rule of having played a minimum number of games (6) in that team/grade during the season is main prerequisite for mine. Colts should not be eligible to "play up" unless they have played a minimum number of games in that...
