    Reds v Blues Rd 11 Fri 25th April 2025

Our defence was great and set piece was strong but it was poor decision making and clearing that gave the blues so many damn chances (which they bungled). Too many times we tried to run it from the 22 and ended up have to do a clearing kick - usually short, and just gave the blues another...

    Wallabies 2025

That's not quite how a depth chart works. Initial squad of 40 will feature 3, maybe 4 playmakers - he is definitely in that frame. For those that aren't in the top 2 for their position, the next 2 questions asked are a) what OTHER value do that person being in the squad offer? b) in an...

    Waratahs 2025

Reds had to get JTA (Jeffery Toomaga-Allen), Brumbies Fotuaika, Force Moli. Chances are Tahs (barring Talakai coming home) will need to bring a big lump of a lad struggling to crack real game time from a NZ team.

    Wallabies 2025

My issue that past Paisami and Ikitau as 12s, I don't rate the others at test level (Foketi, Stewart, Feliuali). Kerevi wouldn't be my starting 12, but I think he is the best option to fill out the 4th centre spot in the squad.

    Wallabies 2025

Going for a 36man squad as that is what we had for 2024 Bledisloe Hk: Faesler, BPA, Pollard Prop: Bell, Slipper, Hodgman, Tupou, Ala'alatoa, Nonggoor (easy to swap in Kailea & Deluttis) - I don't rate Robertson Lock: Frost, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Skelton, Williams, Hoops BR: Tizzano, Mcreight, Wilson...

    Wallabies 2025

I tend to go with 33 as per WC but I'l stick with your 34 Remove Canham and Leota or Uru and replace with Skelton & Kerevi. Nowwww Kerevi is a maybe but centre depth is a weak point. I'd rather have Kerevi there considering if there is an injury the next centres are average. Whereas in the...

    Lions Tour 2025

Well I also said an older head is a better 3rd option then a youngster. IF called upon, you want experience. It's a big squad for a reason and the risk is huge if you fill up the 'non playing' spots as you call them, with developing players. Especially in a long series, the squad can get smaller...

    Lions Tour 2025

It's not about appearing, it's about being involved in a broader squad, older heads add more value. That was the problem at the WC, no quade so the 3 young flyhalves were rudderless. IF called up, an older head IMO often more capable of slotting in and adding strategic value off the bench et

    Lions Tour 2025

JOC (James O'Connor) maybe still over Lynagh. Lynaghs time will come with WC, think Lions is a bit too soon and we were found out last year not having an experienced playmaker in the group

    Lions Tour 2025

I agree on Kerevi - I just didn't want to change the other team TOOOO much

    Queensland Reds 2025

Moving forward, Force could use him to replace Carter but more likely the Brumbies could also use him to replace Neville (contract ends this year), and would be a starter with Frost over Shaw. Even more important with Hooper leaving.

    Waratahs 2025

Just wondering where this Tupou replacement is coming from for the Wallabies - Deluttis, Nonggoor, Robertson? Not even close. Keep searching, keep digging, but can't afford to toss him. One THP in Aus can stand toe to toe with the giants of world rugby no.1s with confidence in the scrum...-...

    Queensland Reds 2025

The next 13 option has to the FD - im with @LeCheese . Hands down. Ryan can go to wing with Anderson

    Wallabies 2025

Well they are probably in the union aswell and have minimum work protections and likely favourable contracts, so I would assume there would be significant TOIL elements meaning access to the bulk of annual leave plus accrued leave to be taken in the 'off season'. With the travel and so forth I...
