Great shot. Both boys featured are the epitome of what is good about schoolboy sport. They recognise they are role models for the younger boys and represent their families, team and school with respect to all. It’s never about them and that’s exactly why both will go far on and off the field.
To be honest I don’t think View will care where they beat them. Many were outraged they gave up their home ground advantage against Joeys but the boys just focused on the task at hand knowing they had to earn it. Could be a lesson for others.
I agree with you that View have played very well this year but I disagree that they've exceeded expectations. Alot of people forget that when this year 12 group were in the U16s they were undefeated against all GPS schools except for Newington who they didn't play because of Covid. Yes schools...
