Yep I would agree with that I would say they are most likely to get some new boys from last years 16A's to slot into some reserves and places.

After being able to watch oakhills teams play last year. I have to say the addition of Darcy Feltham at fullback will help greatly strengthen their backline. His explosive step and acceleration definitley set him apart from other fullbacks in the ISA competition. It will be very intresting to see how well he goes up against the pressure of 1st XV rugby.

Auggies mixed squad win trial against Manly Marlins 2s, 3s and 4s Colts comfortably. From what I gathered Auggies had their best squad on in the final quarter of the game (barr a few players) aswell as manly, and Augustines looked like some sort of force to be reckoned with this year, just in those first 20 minutes of the season. Great first hit out for the men in gold.

Word around Oakhill is that the trial game against Shore on the 4th of May will be played at North Sydney Oval after the Shute Shield under lights.

After a preseason spanning since early Term 4 2023, Opens trials begin tomorrow. Very exciting 2024 for Oakhill Opens Rugby with 7 possible opens teams. The 1st XV right up there as premiership contenders. #bloodandmustard
