Ties at tight head, lock and fullback. Fa'agase gets through at tight head given Pearce is a loosehead and was named as such. Ryan Smith beats Izack Rodda and Kurtley Beale beats Jock Campbell based on both players picking up a clean sweep in the tie breaker TOTWs (1, 2, 3)

Liam Wright unlucky to miss out. JTA was very good but is ineligible, as is Tamati Tua who was probably best of the weekend.

A bit honourable mention to Tamati Tua who is having a great year... shame he's not eligible.

Is Tua well down the road to eligibility? Or not really
Debuted for the Brumbies in 2022 but played NPC seasons every year afterwards that may have reset his eligibility. Looks like 2027 at the earliest. Likely depends on how long he was back in NZ for those NPC seasons - season runs around 2 months and I think the reset period is 3 months.

Three ties this week:
- Heaven-Faessler - Heaven was the unanimous pick of the tie break teams of the week (1, 2, 3) so he takes it.
- Ala'alatoa-Ross - Neither player named in any of the tie break TotW with the ineligible Toomaga-Allen favoured, but Ala'alatoa takes it based on superbru fantasy points (5 - 0)
- Valetini-Wright - This one was very close with rugby.com.au (Wright 6, Valetini 8) and Christy Doran (Valetini 6, Wright 7) naming both, but Cully only picked Valetini so he sneaks in.

Wilson, well done again. But for the record, Tom Ross is now with some team somewhat further north than the Brumbies. :)

The number of entries is a bit concerning, isn't it? Perhaps an indication of waning interest in rugby generally, or just that only very few have the time and interest to watch all the games involving Aussie sides?

Thanks, must just be my natural instincts instinct to not recognise or reward the tahs haha.

As far as entries go it always drops off as the season goes. Life gets in the way and it can be harder to keep up with the games. Early season is always easier but then club starts up, other interests need to be balanced with rugby and generally speaking I find April and May are my busiest months with life outside of rugby.

Always going to be a bit harder in rounds like the last one and this one too, where no Australian teams play each other so there are a full five games to watch. I don't think the drop off is indicative of waning interest in the game as a whole.
