Hooker seems to be this year's cursed position. Been out of touch so don't know anything about Max Craig, can someone more knowledgeable fill me in?

Thought I saw HMP warming up before the game last week even though he wasn't in the 23, good to see him back

They usually have a couple of extra forwards and backs warming up, in case a player goes down during warmup, which isn't unheard of.

The injury list is starting to bite now.
No worse than it's been all season though. Props we're going alright, at hooker it would be nice to know how serious Nasser's injury is. Otherwise, I think we're ok, we should get Wilson back in what 3 weeks and Daunguni can't be far.

While true, out of that match day 23 only two have returned from long stints in the rehab centre (Jock and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)).

Nasser seems to be on his third season with a long stint on the sidelines and probably gives Wright a run for his money on games missed.

Would like to get Daungunu back or Henry in after another run for Wests. Dre has been unreal but he's due a rest surely.

Agree some reinforcements are always good but I don't think Dre necessarily needs a rest. He's played 8 games of rugby including a bye week and he's clearly up to the challenge. Our young players need to be playing more games, not less.

Feels worse to me.
Lost two LHPs - Gibbon & Blake
2 Hookers - Faessler & Nasser plus Blake who was evidently our 4th string so we are effectively playing our 5th str
Locks are now all fit but I think the impact of injury of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) was relatively low given the presence of Smith, Canham & Blyth
Down Wilson & Wright
Still down Henry, Flook & Goldsborough. Daugunu now out too - so 4 centres out.

The squad has good depth this year but Fiji is a hard place to both play well and then backup. It would just be nice to have one or two more of those players available.

Reds aren’t on their pat though - dealing with the injury list is part and parcel of being successful. And the positive if it has been watching guys like Pakeho & Brial making the most of their opportunity. Definitely would like a few more back in the next couple of weeks though.

Feels like we're in this position with injuries every year. While injuries are part and parcel with contact sport, I feel like we've had more than most teams (except maybe the Tahs) over the last 5 or so seasons? The stuff of nightmares.

Hmm, injuries are just inevitable. Looking at it again, we actually might struggle with LHP as I don't know what the go is with Gibbon and Blake was playing 3rd back up. Need to get lucky with Sef and Hodgman. Center is ok because Goldborough probably wasn't gonna feature that much. I can see Daugunu back pretty soon and Henry just needs to get through another game to press his claim to come off the bench.
