NH rugby entering pointy end of things, pretty exciting.
Champions Cup semi finals this weekend is funnily enough probably least exciting of the next few weeks.
Leinster v Northampton
Northampton are out of the Premiership race, so they've been focusing entirely on this game but still, the gulf in class is enormous. Playing Leinster in Dublin? Sheesh.
Our boy Josh Kemeny? currently lubing up for the backrow of Van der Flier, Doris & Conan.
Crowd favourite Angus Scott Young playing in the row? Against Ryan, McCarthy and 2 x RWC winner RG Synman.
Ya homeboy James Ramm on the wing? Gotta tag a back three of Lowe, Larmour and Keenan.
Anyway, crazier things have happened but this would be the upset of the year (maybe decade).
Bordeaux v Toulouse
Bordeaux put out a dreadful performance last week, losing badly at home, to Will Skelton's struggling La Rochelle. Though I think that may have more to do with them having an eye on this champions cup game.
Toulouse have some serious injuries. No Mauvaka, no Dupont, no Blair Kinghorn. 3 of their 5 biggest players. Away at Bordeaux, one thinks this could be a very close match. Bordeaux are missing Adam Coleman, Swinton, Janse Van Rensburg and potentially Tatafu will be back this weekend. Decent injuries but no where near as important as Toulouse's.
