After a cracker weekend of games, I have put together a very rough estimate of my personal picks for the ISA 1st XV. Most of these picks are influenced by the 2024 ISA teams.

1. Liam Boys (OAK)/ Ben Bromby (SPX)
2. James Kenna (OAK)
3. Dylan Tait (SPX)
4. Archie Isherwood (AUG)
5. Casey Bray (AUG)/ Gary Roberts (OAK)/ Tobias Comito
6. Samuel Polley (OAK)/ Lukas Butler (OAK)
7. Oscar Cleary (KIN)/ Noah Rylands (AUG)
8. Noah Rylands (AUG)/ Oscar Cleary (KIN)
9. Flyn Farrell (OAK)
10. Callum Spooner (OAK)
11. Cyrus Bloomfield (OAK)
12. Kobi Mendel (SPX)/ Samuel Polley (OAK)
13. Ollie Metcalf (AUG)
14. ?
15. Darcy Feltham (OAK)
After the performance from Beau Alexander on the weekend against scots you would be smartest to play Ollie metcalf on the wing and Beau alexander at 13.

Filthy 5ths

another one to watch in Auggies lower grades is Jack berne in the filthy 6ths. A technical number 10 who loves to play eyes up footy. shades of Quade cooper from this young man as his flashiness and technical ability far exceeds his opponents

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of travelling from Campbell town down to Bathurst to watch St Pat's 3rd XV take on Scots All Saints 1st XV and all I can say is the talent in these less known rugby schools is incredible. One player that I particularly enjoyed watching was the Scots All Saints big, tall number 4 who was the 'main player' for SASC taking hit up after hit up as well as producing some huge tackles. If anybody in this forum has any clue on the name of this talented kid please let me know, he is a player to watch this year in the ISA 3rd grade competition.
Yeah I'm in year 11 at SASC and i believe the player your thinking of is Patrick Anderson. I wouldn't say he is the main player in the team but is definitely a solid year 12 player. For our small school I think we might go alright this year in the ISA 3rd grade comp.

Great to hear about Scots All Saints so feel free to post about how you guys go. We dont get a lot of info about SASC, CCG, Chev, Oxley, Redfield or Redlands so keen to hear how it all goes for you.

16cs standout player Jack rigney is a force to be reckoned with, 6'4 prop near 110kg. Moves like an absoloute truck, wont be suprised if hes playing firsts in the coming weeks.

We were undefeated through our trials against Kinross 3rd XV (Roughly 42-15) and Sydney Boys High School 1st XV (33-0).

A solid start to the first round of the season with win over St Pats (39-12), but unfortunately we lost our Number 8 and Co-Captain with a season ending compound fracture in his leg.

MudgeeMudcrab Here,

I am usually a huge fan of GPS Rugby comp and really only pay attention to it, but i must say the big fella for oakhill i believe who plays number #8 Samuel Polley, has truly been immense. I have only seen clips of the kid playing rugby leauge in the Harold Matthews competition for Parramatta Eels , and was given the opportunity to see him play in the flesh last weekend, and my word can he play ball. I asked one of the parents from the St Pius about the kid and was shocked to hear that he can also play #12. This kid is definitely one one to watch in the future, and i have no doubt will succeed whether in Leauge or Union. I must also applaud the ISA comp for bringing the much needed grit and competitiveness to the GPS schools, and have most definitely humbled afew (cocky) GPS schools.

I have been watching a fair bit of St Augs rugby this year. They have been very impressive. The front row in particular, they have dominated all scrums anyone have any idea the names of these players as they could be a good chance of making ISA teams

Predicted starting Kinross 1st XV lineup v Gregs

2: Ollie Jarrick
3: Debutant Jackson Davis
4: ? (Captain Tom Day injured)
5: Pio Sinisia

The thing I love about Kinross is the amount of glaze the lads give Oscar Cleary, prime example is the commentating of the kws v pats game, cmon boys hop off it "oh here's oscar the Australian school boy" "ohh he's so big and strong I want to sleep with him" seriously lads enough's enough.

What a line up! many thanks for all that contributed. Some great names across the years and from both ARU and NRL.

Looking into ISA before it was the ISA Stannies produced allot of wallabies: 7 in total.
