How have Cranbrook 2nds matched up so far this year, just trying to get the temperature of these Newington sides this year?
They’ve been comfortably beaten by every team, although I think Riverview was more dominant against Cranbrook 2nds than Newington was. I believe Riverview also won by about 14 more points. How have Cranbrook 2nds matched up so far this year, just trying to get the temperature of these Newington sides this year?
Thanks! They’ve been comfortably beaten by every team, although I think Riverview was more dominant against Cranbrook 2nds than Newington was. I believe Riverview also won by about 14 more points.
Newington is a usual contender. They beat Cranbrook 2's convincingly, although many players were injured in the 1st XV requiring these 2's players to step up. But let me remind you, this is just trials. How have Cranbrook 2nds matched up so far this year, just trying to get the temperature of these Newington sides this year?
Cranbrook beats Aloys. What are everyones predictions for this big upcoming 1st week of CAS.
I've got Cranbrook beating Aloys,
Barker beating knox by 2 or 3
Waverley beating Trinity by 10
Yeah, only put that margin as so far i've been particularly impressed with trinity, but yeah that waverley team is very strong and should win comfortably.Cranbrook beats Aloys.
Barker v. Knox should be a good watch.
Waverly by a greater margin perhaps
Just remember, the Cranbrook 2's have been at loss of a full strength team for quite some time. And considering the likes of Chester Mobbs and John Fuller being away on vacation and numerous 1st XV boys being injured meaning a number of 2s players got the call up. Hoping to see them enter the CAS comp, guns blazing, at their full potential. They’ve been comfortably beaten by every team, although I think Riverview was more dominant against Cranbrook 2nds than Newington was. I believe Riverview also won by about 14 more points.
I've been impressed with Trinity too, only losing by Kings by 19 while having 6 players out of their 1st teamYeah, only put that margin as so far i've been particularly impressed with trinity, but yeah that waverley team is very strong and should win comfortably.
That is impressive!I've been impressed with Trinity too, only losing by Kings by 19 while having 6 players out of their 1st team
I heard Knox were missing 17 from their starting team on the weekend. That is impressive!
Yeah, he had a big 16s season, in the game that i watched him play vs brook he was very dominant, massive unitI know I'm rather late on this one, didn't have a chance to check out the forums on Mother's Day (hope everyone had a great mothers day), but what was the final score in the Barker v Shore game at Allianz. I saw one clip of Joe Stovold impressively shoving off two Shore defenders, that seems to be one of his strong points in offense, I've seen him do that a couple times before. Would greatly appreciate if anyone could share the final results and / or any other key details. Scrum On!
I kid you not.Surely not
I do think he is decent. But Barker's real strength is Harrison Dene very talented flyhalf.Yeah, he had a big 16s season, in the game that i watched him play vs brook he was very dominant, massive unit
Doubt it, would be good just dont think they would get enough viewers to justify it.Appears GPS 1sts/2nds are on Streamer again this year. Assume no broadcast for CAS games?
