Try to Porecki though it looked like the maul had become disjointed at one point
Exactly what I thought Porecki lost contact and was probably only saved from a truck and trailer by Jorgensen joining him and contacting the maul at the same time.

Porecki is listed as 108kg. Looks more like 98 to my eyes and plays very light, evidence the dead stop when he ran into a defender while carrying the ball. He more often bounces backwards than makes ground in contact. His lineout throwing needs work too. Too long gifting possession to the Fiji backs and missed his target on anmother occasion.

Hopefully Fez is back soon. Fasessler and Pollard would be my two hookers for the Lions.

That was a mixed half. So much to like but also some moments which will be making the coaches rip their hair out like that last minute or so. For the amount of control and territory they've had, the Wallabies should be further ahead in this one. Fiji haven't been able to apply any sustained pressure or territory.

It was good to see Porecki back. Bit of a mixed game with two not straight throws which just isn't good enough, but in general play I thought he was excellent and he seemed reasonable in the scrum.

Jorgensen and Potter are both looking excellent and great at taking their chances.

The soft touch interplay between the players is looking good. The McReight try came from some really nice short passing.

Defence has generally been good. They look solid, especially considering how big some of those Fiji boys are.

Replay of Tate taking that gap from half. He took ages to get through the hole. A good halfback would have been away. Tates got it. Just needs to adjust slightly
