I was also expecting Swain a bit too

I expect Swain will get the call up for the first nations/pasifika side now, potentially paired with Salakaia-Loto so they're both as ready as possible should anything happen.

I would definitely be adding Edmed to the squad. If Foley or O'Connor was a serious option they should have been with the squad from as early as possible. I also take from the fact that Schmidt didn't select those guys to begin with that he's more likely to select Edmed now.

I reckon Lynagh is either starting or not in the 23 at all, he doesn’t cover any other positions whereas JOC (James O'Connor) could feasibly do 12 and at a stretch 15.

I think all this will be down to the reality of Lynagh's health, can he be the bench option or not?

If he can, then the third option is going to be holding the tackling pads, not "finishing" a test

Tom Robertson over Aidan Ross is an odd one.

I thought Robertson did very well for the Force and got around a little more than Ross.

Robertson is actually a little more experienced at Super level and a lot more at Test level so I’m comfortable with it staying this way after the AUNZ game.
