Rugby Championship 2025 (non-Aus matches)

Dismal Pillock

Nick Farr-Jones (63)
6. Simon Parker (2)
7. Ardie Savea (100) Vanished. Greatest Ever Dude is smaller than the Bok 2nd 5 that came off their bench.
8. Wallace Sititi (12) Vanished. poor bugger. Barely played Soup Rugby and just biffed in there like he'll know what to do for the All Blacks. Also smaller than the Bok 2nd 5 that came off their bench.

10. Beauden Barrett (139) IT'S OVER. ffs what could have been with Harry Plummer......
11. Leroy Carter * was so jarring seeing an AB back use an actual sidestep to beat his man. A bold new strategy!
12. Jordie Barrett (74) ffs if he can't field a high ball and can't make a break and can't kick long any more just fuck him off to the bench. Razor will be loyal.......... right up to the point where it is HIS job on the line after these tenured dinguses let him down with yet another "bad day at the office"
15. Damian McKenzie (67) poor little bugger. Not exactly Cheslin Kolbe is he.....

Backs are SCREAMING out for Roigard to come back.

Just finished watching this. Boks had no reserves left and finished stronger. I’ve never seen the ABs effort drop off at the end of a game like that. The scrum and lineout dominance plus winning the majority of the contest able kicks was the key factor in the win I thought.

Im away this weekend and am going to have to watch the replay to see if what I’m reading here really happened. It seems unfathomable to me that an All Black team could be so comprehensively beaten by a Bok team that IMHO has crested the hill.

I’ve never seen an All Black team shit the bed so spectacularly.
Confidence sapping for the team, and it will be hard to pick themselves up from, after a record loss of that magnitude.
Lots of weaknesses on display for the wallabies to exploit, and I’m bracing myself for the Eden park record to end, and the expected outrage on social media.
Scott Barrett’s typically bland and uninspiring post match interview was in keeping with his teams performance.
Nope ABs are definitely winning at Eden Park

So I've now watched a replay and wow, that was both some performance from the Bokke but also AB's WTF? They looked clueless out there after half time. Up until that point it was an excellent and hotly contested game.

Razor's halftime corporate speak and motivational poster did the trick.

Was what we all thought was a close first half just both sides getting a feel? Then SA being let off the leash and taking advantage of the pace out wide, NZ panicking and chasing the game, leading to Scooby Snacks being raided and everyone thinking 'fark it's 2007 again why didn't Richie just sweep the floors'.

But tomorrow's another day and there will be another battle. It's Australia. Oh boy.

Correct @Teh Other Dave , it's over now and time to look forward. I was at match and probably first time I was feeling angry after the test, it looked so bad in last 20 minutes. Anyway home now and a night's sleep in Wellington, a drive home and another sleep, and I now almost shrugging shoulders and saying let's get into the next one!

AB's gameplan was wide - wide. The backline was soo deep at times just to get around the rush defense. This is not their normal gameplan. The try they scored was amazing but that was the end of it. Set piece fell apart. Wide Wide wasn't getting points.
Strange scenario for all teams at the moment. Pumas going home to host the Boks were probably feeling good until they review the footage of the masterclass the Boks dished up in Wellington on Saturday. AB's going WTF happened there but heading to Eden Park. Boks on cloud nine but they have had lots of different players from week to week. Wallabies on top of the table but going to Eden park after a clumsy loss to the Argies at the SFS which should be a fortress it is such a good venue. Coaches earn their keep this next fortnight.
