WE haven’t been???We haven't been particularly patient with any of our young 10's,
He left because the Rebels were folding. He only went to league because he wanted to move closer to home and the Reds at that time couldn't fit him in. I think in hindsight he would have been better going for a stint in France or Japan if he wanted a break from the Rebels bullshit. I thought he was always a better option than Lolesio with goalkicking he's only glaring weakness.Carter Gordon could be the Wallabies’ best flyhalf in the future, but he was far from it when he left…
Lolesio certainly had the last laugh there…
But it’s definitely worth having him back.
Is Rogers his manager? He was spouting how good he could be in league if he stuck at it. Sounds like he was just defending his stuff around. I know he wanted to get home but going from the Rebels to the Titans never seemed like a good idea. Particularly if you've never really played before.Matt Rogers got in his ear and sold him the world at the Titans. The pay can be A LOT better as well.
Titans are a desperate Club for relevancy and willing to take a swing.

Neither of them were first choice goal kicker for their super teams though. Do we want a part-timer taking kicks for the Wallabies?A good thing for Carter now is that the Wallabies have a couple of other legitimate goal kicking options in other positions in JAS and Ryan Lonergan. That would take a lot of pressure off him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get game time in November.
I think I'm thinking of Maddison Levi. My bad.Picone I think. Or it was

No way, we need this kind of spark and passion. I thought it was great.Fuck that was a sad indictment on him I reckon. Shows a complete lack of temperament that you need for a top level 10. Not that I think Carter has it. It’s one of his known 'flaws' among the rugby community.
It was negative aura stuffNo way, we need this kind of spark and passion. I thought it was great.
I get it. I did laugh at the time at him for doing it. But I think overall we need more emotion and narratives in rugby, not less. I’d never advocate for us going full league boofhead, but a level of rivalry and spiciness just adds so much more casual interest. It was negative aura stuff
I never understand why it has to be the 10 who takes the kicks. Whoever is the best kicker in the team should get the job. It takes a lot of focus and time to get it right, so who cares who kicks?Neither of them were first choice goal kicker for their super teams though.
