For years I had a signed Tahs Jersey hanging in a glass-front frame dating from late 1990s. Finished up giving it to a family member with more connection than me.

Wash your mouth out. Sacrilege. Actually, I am not so down on the Tahs as I am on RA. RA is driving the agenda to strengthen the Tahs at the expense of others. The players are wanting a spot to earn their living and to get enjoyment out of their participation.

I'd suggest Irae Simone would be a noticable step up on last week's offerings.

I think that is precisely the end game for RA.

One possible, perhaps unintended consequence, might be more competitive games overall with the top players missing from the top teams. Wouldn't this be a positive effect on the attractiveness of the games and at the same time potentially ginger up the standings on the ladder a bit?
