    Scott Sio?

    Waratahs 2025

How many of those 100 would command a SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) starting spot or bench spot though? The number has been as high as 200 in the past but if it's only 20-30 who would get a gig - especially with 4 teams - the overall number is kind of irrelevant.

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

I believe in rewarding incumbents if performance is good, Nasser and Faessler have earnt that. I'd also look at Flook as an alternative for either 14 or 23 if a change is being made.

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

They've both been very good and should stay in their roles.

    He's Irish.

    Western Force 2025

So you're a Brumbies fan and you think the Brumbies have a weaker squad than this year, and therefore you have forced yourself to find reasons to think every other team will be worse year on year?

    Wallabies 2024

I'd like to see Flook in the 23 jersey to cover centre and wing.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Why not add Jeremy Paul, Phil Kearns and Josh Mann-Rea while you're at it? Hard to argue that anybody outside of Faessler, Nasser & Pollard deserved a call-up for this series. FF (Folau Fainga'a), Uelese, Latu, Mafi all signed overseas beyond this year. LL and Porecki injured. None of the three put a foot...

Is Phil Kite still at Vannes too?

Thank you Rebels. I'd rather have had and lost you, than never had you at all.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

There were rumours that the Sevens Series is seriously crippling WR (World Rugby) financially. Can somebody smarter than me tell me if this is the case?

    Super Rugby General Chat

I take your point - and semi agree - but having games with finals ramifications all the way to the end does also make it interesting as well.

Thought Whittaker played more than once from memory.

    Waratahs 2025

Jamie is actually a rugby fan. I know him well. His job isn't to promote rugby. It's to write about rugby, good, bad and otherwise. This is an interesting story. The late Wayne Smith was as critical of rugby as anybody, but was an outstanding journo. The 'news hates rugby' narrative is so skewed...

Great summary - keep 'em coming, pls do the whole finals series!

    Great list Scott. No Higgers?

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The inability to capitalise on the Rio gold, and the fast-paced and fun game of sevens in the 'snackable' era - alongside the rise of women's sports - is one of the more disappointing things Rugby AU have overseen over the last decade. Tell me you really want to watch NRLW, AFLW or SRW ahead of...

    SVNS Series 2023/24

I don't, only that Lily, Demi & Madison won't be as they all did ACLs

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Considering they were missing ALF, Sharni, Demi, Madison Ashby and Lily Dick, it's a monster effort. Really only 8 or 9 of the squad saw big mins in big matches.
