GAGR Wallaby POTY v Argentina (1st test)

look this thread is about votes not comment. But he is the only one we heard say it as he was next to the ref. Ultimately it was the captains call. Jake Gordon

no. There were no rugby clubs. They formed after the QRU was formed. It was formed by largely expat Irish and Englishmen sick of being dictated to by AFL as to what form of football they could play, and against who and on which grounds. The first two clubs were the Fireflies and Wanderers.

But clubs would vote on the process. They have to agree to the season draw etc including the finals structure.

If we are going a 6-2 bench again then Hodge is on the bench. The other question is - do you give Arnold a run? Philip was fine but not excellent. A chance for Rory?

The other thing I liked about FF (Folau Fainga'a)’s game is the minder role he played with White. A few feared Swain would be targeted by the Pumas but Cheika obviously had them targeting White. Mainly by the big forwards. He obviously got sucked in a little but FF (Folau Fainga'a) was generally first there making his presence...

I wouldn’t pick him either. But Rennie is a fan. Rugby Australia has him contracted. Is he home?

Pretty damn good defensive lineout too. Jed, Philip and Swain all very good at picking off an opposition throw.

he had to. Valetini (I think?) was isolated. No one else was there, he had to do his bit to get the ball. It was a penalty either way because Pumas were on the ball.

Personally I think match threads, during the game, are tedious and pointless. Full of impulsive terrible takes that often get proved wrong later. I avoid them during the game.

    Refereeing decisions

I maintain that the team doesn’t deserve to suffer. The judiciary just needs to make a point now. He deserves a long break.

No Japanese players to be picked ever again perhaps with the injured to Quade Cooper. His and Kerevi’s employers won’t be too happy.
