    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Will the anti-siphoning laws be extended to streaming platforms too when terrestrial tv dies? I notice that you can't watch the cricket test matches on 7+ (despite it being on channel 7), only on Kayo/Fox. As an aside, do we extend the same rules to streaming that X% of their content must be...

There's no obvious replacement. I lean towards Joseph because he's had international experience, I'm sick of us being testing grounds for provincial coaches, let them cut their teeth elsewhere then they can come coach us. But then again coaching Japan is a bit of a free ride, no one remembers...

Pivac and Eddie both leaving means Wallabies have an even better chance of getting to the semis.

Eddie Jones has been dismissed by England 9 months out, surprised they pulled the trigger to be honest.

Desperately need another on baller so they both would be good

I think he's a bit like Alun Wyn Jones and Sexton. Can do a full game of great quality but don't expect them to do 20 of them a season.

Aha exactly Not quite sure how our backrow will turn out without Leota there. Ioane has upsides but far from reliable. Kemney, Wilkin, Hardwick are all super quality and deserve to be starting.

    Rebels 2023

Rebels 2023 will be like Wallabies 2022, a year of hypotheticals and "if onlys". If Leota, Philip and Hosea are fit, we have the heaviest forward pack by far in Australia and our scrum would be an absolute weapon. But doubt we'll see Leota or Philip all season (unless @MelbourneRebels want to...

Another great analysis by Nic Bishop who explains succinctly that our tight five foundation of Brumbies ain't up to standard. To defend Rennie here, a lot of first choice players like Porecki, Bell, Tupou, Skelton etc weren't available. But pretty interesting reading there. Does point out what...

Great news. Because that team that MS posted above is looking pretty bloody light on.

Yes but Rugby Australia will be trying to save face and have some semblance of authority. I doubt they'll go to open slather straight away.

I think it'll be increased to 5. I'd personally do, in order of importance: Kerevi, Cooper, Koroibete, Skelton, Foley. If there's a 6th I'd take Arnold, a 7th whack on BPA. Mind you this is banking on Latu going. If Latu doesn't perform next year I'd probably take BPA as a 5th, dropping Foley.

To be honest that's probably pretty close to what I'd have starting in a RWC big match. Maybe swap Frost for Philip. Also Frost is gonna be a machine as he grows into his body more and more.

Could be. I guess BPA only has to sign for ‘24 to be selected for RWC ‘23. also side note: loving England’s best players also get pilfered by France. Feels good. Marchant, LCD, Jack Willis, all off to France. We all suffer together

So Montpellier has signed Luke Cowan Dickie, the English hooker. with BPA, that’s two pretty big name, expensive hookers on your books. Hopefully means BPA wants out sooner than later.

Also predicting we'll have another 5 blokes at least miss the RWC through injury.

    Wallabies 2022 (towards 2023)

You've picked Latu & Swinton based off a lot of promise and form from a while ago. We have decent depth at 6, Swinton has a big hill to climb to get back in the squad, a task I predict will be too much. He hasn't played in two years, coupled with his red mist and our blindside depth spells no...
