I remember him playing his best footy on the wing for GPS back in 2019, where he got picked for QLD Country in the NRC. But he apparently left GPS to pursue an opportunity at 10, and I don't think that's his strongest position (by a significant margin).
I've heard Jono Kent is on his way to Brothers this season. Hoping for more opportunities after sitting in West's reserves for most of last year? Are any others leaving Wests?
All the whispers are all abit of fun, aren't they?
Is it that surprising that he wasn't happy at Norths (like many before him) so he then supposedly sussed out other 1st Grade opportunities (like anyone else would) before going back to GPS to coach reserve grade? Fairly confident Kelevi's son...
Looks like Michael Richards and Maile Ngaumo were initially named but didn't feature in a game. Maybe work got in the way, as you'd expect they'd get some minutes...
Ratu Vio was a late call-up by the looks and Floyd was an obvious pick being a contracted player.
Can understand GPS fans...
I've just come across this. Has much been made about it possibly being Heeno's last game coaching UQ this weekend? Thought I would have seen some more about it. Not unlike him to not be the focus, though.

Ben McCormack officially coming back to Brisbane now?
The breakdown of the playing fees would mean they are only be out of pocket $163 per player (covers insurance, state, and association fees. Club fees would go back to them anyway). Granted they have more pro players than most clubs, but it really is a tiny fee to allow for a Super and/or Wallaby...
How did Wests make the same mistake 2 years in a row? Just register all your pro players at the beginning of the year in the off chance they are available. It's not that hard.
Go GPS. They've just named Bobby Tuttle, Josh Collins and Teti Tela in the side as late changes. Michael Richards 200th Club game and Chris Kuridrani 100th, good on them. Keen for this game!
I think there were plans to do a 'rep-round' initially mid-year, but then that weekend was then used to redo the weekend of rained-out games. Didn't see much comms about it from QRU, but know there were at least plans for it. Would have been interesting.
