    Wallabies 2023

reminds me of many years ago, living and working in London, went to a trivia night, Q especially for me, who is the Oz PM? i answered correctly John Howard, the election being about 4 -5 days prior, but their answer was Paul Keating, and would brook no correspondence!

    Rebels 2023

they've not had a successful whole season, but imo the first half of 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 were their best. In 2018 Adam Coleman made arguably the dumbest decision of any captain in any sport when he turned down a gimme three to draw a game at AAMI, they lost and lost momentum and missed the...

"The Rebels travelled to Fiji for the first time but left empty-handed, unable to turn a swag of possession into any points" rugby.com.au deja vu, season 23 rinse and repeat the prior 11 years :(

    Rebels 2023

This pretty much as expected imo, I watched training on Tuesday, none of the Wallabies or Aus A tourists were in the opposed session, save Bobby T. Uelese, Kemmeny, Rangi and Louwrens were running with on and off with the “A” side so to speak. Only Leota and Philip not there, Hosea and Pone F...

    Wallabies 2023

many, many years ago i was part of a Combined Unis set up that played the AB's in Brisbane, 3 days after a test in Sydney, there were about half a dozen Wallabies in the team, all looked pretty beaten up, especially the blokes in the tight five, so 40 odd years later when both sides are...

so the hookers ! the two Brumbies tyros are not up to it yet and i think Lonergan is always going to be too small. at home Kai'tu , Latu, Mafi, Rangi, Uelese and overseas BPA - all have their deficiencies either, cant throw, cant stop being carded, not interested, not mobile enough. we ned...

not all the injuries have been soft tissue / overuse / underprepped in origin. Paisami's happened today in a tackle, Foketis as well, but i agree too many come at training or from wear and tear.

Another “if only” performance. Discipline and breakdown effectiveness remain significant issues. Oh and injuries ! How many black cats has Rennie walked by ? There have been some positives to this tour Holloway, Frost, Mark N (Nawaqanitawase), Ikitau( although I have always thought he was a definite pick)...
