    Wallabies 2024

Slipper offers nothing and needs to be replaced. He has no impact at all and all it does is force our best prop to have to come back on and put in a bigger shift when he has cooled down. A recipe for potential injury for Bell.

Selection is earnt not guaranteed. If he is good enough he will make the grade. No one is guaranteed selection.

Good point BobbyD. We keep justifying a kid who was identified at U15's and continue to pick him when others by the time they are 18/19 have developed further through physical growth or talent development. The Brumbies can identify talent and put a team together from our supposed rejects. It has...

That is the only way to get him with outside donors footing the bill. Rugby Australia won't have the funds. Tips the media coverage on its head if Cleary comes across. Look at the attention Sualili has received and he is a shadow of what Cleary has done in the NRL.

The Wallabies need a 10 and a goal kicker. Cleary could become a global name and if Mary stays in Europe which she will as a professional footballer a very easy way for them to be together. Get some donors and pay him $2m to play for the Wallabies. The game needs superstars and we don't have any...

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

RA does not have the money to offer these kids that Rugby League has. Next year he would be playing Colts and running around in a U20's Gen Blue program. He would not be playing at the higher level of Super Rugby. I agree let him go and develop and make a name for himself. If he has a good...

    Wallabies 2024

Sua'ali'i is the best athlete and I would also say, back that the Wallabies now have. He has been playing in the toughest competition week in week out in the world. The guy knows how to play football and definitely knows how to tackle. The Wallabies need something to excite them and more...

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

That is a pretty unfair comment on what the clubs do and their respective Colts coaches or Directors of Rugby. If you did not have the clubs or those employees then you don't have somewhere for those school graduates to play. The clubs provide the structure and coaches for training up to three...

    2024 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (29th Sept - 3rd Nov)

He also came on in the 2nd half and helped destroy Unis scrum in the Qualifying Final which had Aussie Under 20's reps in it. Lets watch the games and see how they perform before commenting.

    Shute Shield 2024

The Big Dance tomorrow. Do the Star Studded Beasties with all their points knock over the desperate Shoremen who tasted defeat last year? I think the demons of 2023 will be overcome and the Red and Black men of Norths will get the job done - JUST Good luck to all grade teams on Saturday and the...

    Waratahs 2025

Houston has dominated Club Rugby for a few years now. Deserves his chance and a bigger body after his pre-season with the Tigers last year. Best THP in the Shute Shield is Tristan Fuli from Gordon. Needs to get fit but no doubt the best scrummager in the competition.

Also heard from a good source Wisemantle had the job and got burnt at the last minute. Got offered an assistant role from McKellar but wanted to be the Head Coach.

    Shute Shield 2024

Two big games tomorrow at North Sydney Oval. Hard to go past Easts v Randwick Grand Final with Norths and Warringah only having a 6 day turn around after playing 100 minutes. Any players getting on the plane to Argentina today? Dylan Pietsch?

    Shute Shield 2024

If SRU want to kill the Shute Shield than dropping the points cap is a sure way of doing it. The competition has been very good the last few years with strength across nearly all the teams. We haven't had a repeat winner like we saw in the 2000's and 2010's. The points cap needs to be refined...

    Shute Shield 2024

Congrats to Andrew Deegan on winning the Ken Catchpole medal. Coach of the Year joint winners Harry Fehily (Gordon) and Stephen Hoiles (Randwick). Wonder what Batger or Holmes think of that?

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Joeys may have to look at what they did over the school holidays. Their camp obviously didn't help them having lost all three games since term 3 started. Maybe staying at the school and using the facilities there is a more sensible approach rather than heading to Kingscliff and the beach.
