I thought for all Lolesios flaws he defended pretty hard for the most part. Also agree was good to see Tupou step up and find a bit of form around the paddock again, hopefully can shore up that scrum.

Good game. Such a shame it was someone spoiled by some questionable ref calls... I love how physical the Wallabies are looking at the moment, winning a lot of the collisions. We looked tight defensively, however JAS has a lot to work on this super season, baptism of fire for the young fella...

Is he more an SBW? Or is he a Folau that thinks he is a SBW?

100%, It was a tactic we used a couple times against england with JAS securing it back again. We decided it was our best option for some reason even when JAS wasnt on the field.... looked like they had forgotten what had won them the last 2 games.

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Finally going to give my 2 cents now the hysteria seems to have settled a bit. First 20 looked like we were continuing the good form from the last 2 games. However as others have stated we really needed to convert the opportunities we had. I think if we stuck to that game plan of sustaining...

Isnt Tizzano exactly who you want in a slow and messy game? (If that assumption is even true). Someone who has proven to be a solid defender, very physical not afraid to get in the mud. Where as Mcreight is a great link player in the open running rugby we have been playing? Regardless I agree...

The biggest downside by bringing someone else in is taking away the cohesion that Wilson and Mcreight have after years of playing together.

Wasnt that long ago everyone was singing Tizzano's praises... didnt he have the best defensive stats in TRC or close to? If McReight needs a rest then im all for it. The bloke is a workhorse and certainly seemed up to it earlier in the year. Great for continuing to build depth.

Is this the Wallabies vs Wales thread?

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Yeah thats true, I do recall him saying that. However, although he wouldnt guarantee him the captaincy for the tour, he has decided to continue with him as captain for the tour... and based on the way he has made his selections since becoming coach I just cant see him changing it. Not putting my...

Schmidt has been building this team with consistency. There is no way I can imagine that Wilson will be out if he is fit to play; Schmidt has chosen him as captain and I cant see that changing. With that in mind I also cannot see Skelton being pulled. Our attack has been excellent because it...

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

This will probably get lost in Kerevi-gate, and I dont have much to add that others havent. However was different to see Lolesio and Kellaway taking some big runs into the line in tighter, was more than I had noticed before, esspecially in the first half, and bending the line nicely. Just saw...

Im all for building consistency and think Schmitty has been making a solid effort of it. Not sure about Suualii coming off for Kerevi. But also when do you build depth? Surely these games are the games to do it?

Id say the way the wobs have been playing hasnt been conservative recently.

As soon as this JAS in the lineout ploy was suggested , I instantly thought, Rassie would give it a go. Haha
