    Queensland Reds 2025

Hopefully this our actual playing jersey style 2 sizes too big and 300gsm cotton, too.

    Wallabies 2024

Which as a side note - is probably one of the main points of the IPP even existing - despite the low conversion rate. Helps the NFL reach a new fan base or further engage with it, and creates a sense of novelty for fans of the team that pick up IPP players.

    Wallabies 2024

I think the concern around the unpredictability of being on a practice squad and how the salary isn't wouldn't apply to JP or any other IPP candidate - considering they need to come from other sports which you assume are well paid (unless maybe that sport is Athletics)

The next season is the 25/26 season. He'll have his IMG academy time then either be picked up or cut loose. I think he'll know by the end of next year at the latest whether there is a chance or not of making something over there - and even if he's held on a roster for that season then let go -...

    Wallabies 2024

Attraction to me is pretty obvious. If you make it - you become apart of the biggest sporting league in the world. Money, Fame, Prestige etc etc There are no published stats re: his vertical jump, 40m dash etc so the honest answer is - we don't know. People can't just rock up the IPP though -...

Nice little RWC carrot at home though

    Wallabies 2024

Can see a future where Jock Campbell isn't at the Reds, opening up the Fullback spot in the likely event he returns to rugby inside 2 years. Jock probably reaching that cross roads where he may find himself with a handy OS offer and a no road forward in Australian Rugby. Wright has the mortgage...

    Ireland v Wallabies - Sunday 1 Dec, 2:10 AEDT

This is absolutely true for Tate. His pass is clearly the Achilles heel for him but with a dominant forward pack who give him either extra time or the option to pick and pass, it's then good enough to not hinder the team. When his team is being beaten at the breakdown, he's severely muted

What PR would an English Broadcaster get from choosing him?
  10. JRugby2

    Wallabies 2024

Can we offer him a Portuguese Chicken dinner at Hame's place?

    Wallabies 2024

I suppose the clear difference to me between the Wright and Banks arcs is that Banks never had the break out year in the Wallabies jersey that Wright has just had - and so when Banks got the monster offer, RA probably didn't see the value in matching.

    Wallabies 2024

If this is the case and he goes to the wing - which of Jorgo or Kellaway gets the flight to Toulon/ Tokyo? Kellaway clearly has an outstanding rugby brain and great decision making but some of his skill execution has let him down.

    Sure he has, Iain.

    Wallabies 2024

Hopefully its just a case of a guy not being acutely aware of the language he's using and how it might be construed in the context of the story. The only known facts are that his contract is up, he's deeply committed to his home life and that he's been loving his time in the wallabies set up...

    Wallabies 2024

I'm not getting the same feeling from his comments - not that I'm getting an overly positive or optimistic sense either, just more it feels he's firmly riding the fence publicly despite almost certainly having made a decision either way

    Wallabies 2024

Is there any new mail on this? Last I heard he was going to make a call post ANS and since we've just seen Journo's pining over him.

    Wallabies 2024

I wouldn't say Tate is inconsistent - just mostly ineffective inside our own half. Unless there is a half hole around the edge of a ruck where he can gas a lazy A defender, he doesn't have the boot (or a good enough 10 to work with) to relieve pressure.

    Wallabies 2024

I think they offer different things - Kalani to me has a quicker pass/ distribution off the deck and is a more traditional 9 , with Werchon well and truly has modelled his game off Tate as a probing ball runner who can take on the line. Kalani also not known to be a head case like Werchon, but...

    Wallabies 2024

He's probably a while off - likely post 2027 at best, depending the the direction his career takes. Unlikely to see much floor time behind Tate and Kalani this year.

    Refereeing decisions

Sorry was this Australia's federation or laws of rugby?
