LoL. I think Redfield's record suggests otherwise. We've always been considered too small, too young or not having a forward pack that can match it over 80 mins. Since 2010 ROBs has either come out on top or been in the mix across almost all grades.

In one of my first years playing in Subbies (I think around 06/07) the former Balmain Tigers player James Langaloa was playing for Bronte Savers after his contract was cut. He came off the bench and was absolutely poll axing blokes. Mismatch would be an understatement.

One of the great destinations in Subbies rugby. The only thing better than the scenic location is the constant feedback from the crowd. Not for the thin skinned but in good spirits and washed down with a few beverages and all left on the field.

I'm not sure having multiple teams in the finals is an advantage or disadvantage. Having been in this position over the past few seasons it does allow you to move players freely between grades. However, I think clubs with only one team contesting finals tend to do better.

If memory serves me correctly Oakhill were in Subbies a long time ago and may have even been in Div 1 or Div 2? I remember filling in for them one week and they were playing Forrest.

I think the regional setup needs serious consideration. The obvious reality is that the competition is and has been in serious decline for some time. Fewer clubs, fewer teams, and fewer players. Any new arrangement needs to arrest this trend and make it attractive as possible for new players...

On the money there Heavy. History also suggests Subbies seem very reluctant to force teams down and would much prefer them survive on their knees.

Missed them. They will be demoted. If that sets off a chain reaction I would expect to see Hawkesbury Ag drop back and St Ives to also drop back.

Quality player. One of the best 9s in Subbies. Don't really put much credibility into most of this stuff about Epping on this forum. No one really knows what goes on inside a club except those actually in the middle of it week in week out.
