Fifita is actually within the rules though

That rule has been around for ages. Plenty of premierships over the years would need an asterix.

They shifted all teams down a grade for easier games at start of season

Epping shouldn’t have been allowed to play finals

I mean, flipping off the Pats crowd right in front of a Pats player and then going to shake his hand… you gotta expect that exchange to not go well.

    This sounds like UNSW

    Sydney Subbies 2024

which is surprising as they’ve had a few ex Shute shield players run around for them over the last 5 years.

Nice work on a big win but only fielding one team and colts is very ordinary. Especially for a club that has a history of being in Div 1 and was even regularly fielding 3 grades in recent years

Yeah, I’ve seen some of their ex players appear at other clubs such as Forest

Bluey’s have also always had at least one or two of their lower grades be pretty decent strong too. And even when they haven’t got results in previous years, they’ve been in games and the other team has walked off fairly sore after a tussle with the mountain men. They were on the up anyway but...

Does Anyone know what happened to Manly Savers. They had a couple awesome years with decent numbers, got promoted, and seemingly collapsed early in the season. Now they’re back to being undefeated.

Agree, Waverley is a great set up with plenty of bars nearby to carry on to after. Never rated Colleagues ground very much. Knox’s ground is absolutely rubbish, I quite like Hawk Ag, shame they‘re no longer around. Petersham has lots of vantage points and eating options. Parking sucks...

Beecroft never had the numbers for 3 grades

Can confirm that Beecroft get quite a few Oakhill grads.

It’s a tough one. Its great that they’re able to fill out competitions to reduce byes. From their results, looks like their team was bolstered by players due to the fact they’re playing at home, so you might’ve been unlucky there. Regardless, the spirit of rugby should come into it, especially...

How does that fit into the Subbies amateur rules? Is there a distinction made between 7s and 15s?Just curious, personally I wouldn’t mind the amateur rules being relaxed

    Sydney Subbies 2024

The club has come a long way from the Div 3 days not so long ago. From what I’ve heard, the link to the school has been tenuous with not as many players coming as you’d expect (evidenced by colts being shaky), instead they’ve leaned on the expat community and focused on a “play hard, party...

Waverley are a juggernaut in the lower grades, quality players right down to 6th grade
