Will be interesting to see who replaces him. Will it bring a new style of play?
  2. Jets

Probably a discussion for another thread

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Train and bus options would work. Others will use Uber, be dropped off or walk through Vic Park.

Chat that Gibbs may end up at GPS. Apparently has some connection to a player or two there.

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Noble St has a shopping centre and then parkland on one side. Could push the foot traffic down that side to have minimal impact on residents. I do find it strange that people move to live close to a sports stadium and then complain about it.

    Ireland v Wallabies - Sunday 1 Dec, 2:10 AEDT

Frost probably needs to work on his in close ball carrying too. He's a big body and has good footwork.

We actually kept it close early on, negating the rush D. When the English outside back were disillusioned from the constant running we went wide and they made misreads as they all seem to want to make an impact. Really clever tactics. I'm sure JS has a plan for the weekend. I think he was...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

My understanding is they need two fields to play matches on plus warm up facilities. Perry Park won't offer that. Wilston Station upgrade, a pedestrian bridge over Newmarket Road and wider footpaths to the bridge over the creek would work. It's only 1.5km and there will only be around 15K...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

That's why Ballymore worked in the "old days" when the bars stayed open long after the games. Quite a few people hung around at the bars talking and wouldn't leave until well after the game.

Didn't realise that. Guess that won't happen now. :(

With no Gordan I am hopeful that Harrison has a long run with no injuries. I feel that he will be the guy for the next RWC if he can string some games together. I'm hopeful Noah plays more like he did at the start of the tour, rather than last week. No one played well last week and he's not...

I think we will find out next year when he qualifies for Japan.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I would love a ball in play short of the games. Would allow all the action in about 35-45 mins
  14. Jets

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Disagree with this. In his tests so far he hasn't been putting pressure on the breakdown, just making tackles. On the tackle point of view McReight set the benchmark last weekend with 22 tackles and no misses v Wales. But, if Joe want Tizzano I 100% behind it. We need 30+ test quality players...

Sunnybank's issues can be fixed though as their members vote for the board of the licenced club. They just need to find some competent people who are willing to put in the time and vote them onto the board. I would think Brothers and Easts could both do something similar to Wests, its about...

    QLD Colts 2025

Copied across from the 2024 thread, from @The Whisperer All Colts Head coaches named now. Some assistants named too. Seems like a bit of change again for 2025. Bond: Rico Gear Brothers: Josh Nielsen Easts: Jack Richards (Assistants: Tom Milosevic, Ben Littleton, Kirwan Sanday) GPS: Steve...

I hear that GPS have lost a lot of players for 2025. A few off to Sydney, a couple retiring and some going OS.

Have you watch the URC? The Irish test players about 70% of the games. They'd be happy to field second string teams in the URC and a proper test team. The beauty of Irish Rugby having control over all the players.

To be fair, he did take over from a pigeon. Was likely to improve.

You could have a national schoolboy comp run for well under $1M for a few years, then look to find sponsors to asssit. Lots of schools would be keen to enter to be crowned the best schoolboy rugby team in Australia.
