Kings are picking Scot’s apart. Looks like it’s going to be a long day for the boys from Bellevue Hill

Yeh, also interesting to see the captain Guyfoil be moved to 7 from hooker

Looks like Leo Jacques is out, big loss for Scot’s!

Cranbrook 16A’s won 17-12. Big statement.

    CAS Rugby 2023

This is true. It’s honestly a massive predicament that CAS Rugby has found themselves in. Alloys aren’t competitive in rugby and won’t be until they’re able to provide scholarships to players. The GPS had this problem with Shore being uncompetitive but their structure changed and now they are...

Respectable list mate. No glaring misses, however I have heard Weaver (9) from Barker is quite a solid player. But Ward and Patterson are both very solid

I’m reading from a CAS advocate. I must say this season of GPS footy is exciting and competitive. It’s anyones for the taking! However, after the first 2 rounds, these are my predictions after watching the games on Clutch (I wish CAS streamed there games) 1. Kings 2. Riverview 3. Newington 4...

    CAS Rugby 2023

This year is going to be a tight competition, but I believe Knox or Barker will come out victors. I think this is a weak year for CAS rugby, as the GPS teams look a bit stronger. However, this should be a great season of footy. Good luck to all players and teams!

    CAS Rugby 2023

Realistically I believe there will be 2-3 who make the CAS 1 given the strength of Knox and Barker. Also Waverly will have a couple players and Trinity’s 9 could definitely be a shout.

I think there’s a few boys in the running for CAS 1 for brook. Mckenzie (6), Jackson (8), Girle (5), Ah-Colt (3), Allen (10, but I think he’s better at 15) and if Tovio (13) lifts his game just a bit then he could be in the running.

I expect St. Pats to comfortably win this game. They have given some decent CAS 1XV sides a run for their money

On the GPS forum, they’ve created a TOTW. I think that’s a great idea for the CAS once the season kicks off!

They certainly will. Best prop in the CAS in my opinion, should be in CAS 1

    CAS Rugby 2023

They’ve done this a few times I believe. 2021, they played a Newington and Scot’s in training matches. Last season played shore, which showed the quality of their 2nd XV, as they drew with Shore with 14 players the whole match; however, the 1st XV had a tough day out. These holidays, 1st XV and...

I have a feeling we will be seeing Sharples in quite a few of these. Excellent player.

    CAS Rugby 2023

At this point of the season, here are my CAS predictions. 1. Knox (look to be a quality side. Beat a injury-ridden joeys team, but that is still no small feat) 2. Barker (comfortable beat Auggies with a few key players out) 3. Cranbrook (This is a tough call to make. I belive at full strength...

    NSW AAGPS 2023

I’m from the CAS forum reading this, but that’s sounds outrageous. Sounds like Joeys were robbed. Never has been injury time in schoolboy rugby, and there never should be as the games are so fast paced. Hwi is an impressive player, never puts a foot wrong; I see him getting a pro contract next...

    CAS Rugby 2023

Takeaways from the Cranbrook Game: Standouts were Noah Jackson (8), Cam McKenzie (6), Jack Rose (5) and the 2, not too sure what his name is. Jackson is an excellent player, I think he has CAS 1 locked in, same as McKenzie. There were too many errors and loose passes, but the forward back look...

    CAS Rugby 2023

To be honest, we haven’t really had a good look at how Cranbrook will fair. First game was against an alright Auggies side which they lost to. Struggled to beat a mediocre Pats side who have 3 notable players. This weekend is against a sub-par Kinross team; so realistically we won’t have an idea...

    CAS Rugby 2023

Last year, Cranbrooks undefeated 2nds team played View’s 3rds and only one by a try. Cranbrooks 3rds who only lost to Knox last season played against Views 5ths and were well beaten, 26-7. So I do believe these games will not be blowouts, but I do back Waverly to win both games.
