I will prepare you to be highly diappointed by the end of the tournament appointments as Jaco is rated Top 3 and Pearce was lucky to make the RWC after some poor performances. I will be surprised if Pearce earns greater respect for that game given that it was not a close game.
The Laws have become more plain English over time. I am not sure it has made them any easier to interpret. The previous spirit of this Law was that it was OK to be in front if you were caught out by the speed of the game and did not interfer until put onside.
Grammar 13As and 14As are too strong for C teams. Grammar 14As beats Joeys by 20, Riverview by 50, High by 40, Shore by 60 and Kings by 70. I believe the 13A margins have been the same or larger.
The boys are used to it. They play years of "trials" before they get to one of the big teams in the Opens. Some boys never play a competition game of rugby at school.
Out of interest, what does world-class mean? IMO world class means you are in the best 15 or 23 in the world. Is that your definition? If yes, you rate Ikitau that highly? (Noting I think Ikitau is a great player)
