Is he a winger? Always thought he was better suited to 13.

    Waratahs 2022

Spot on. Many times in these discussions there is no consideration to the players in the squad already. Look at the 2012-2014 Reds backrowers (off the top of my head Curtis Browning, Jarrad Butler, Liam Gill, Scott Higginbotham, Ed Quirk, Radike Samo, Jake Schatz and Beau Robinson). Plenty of...

Hooker situation for Rennie reminds me of the lock situation for Cheika. Testing out as many as possible with the hope one of them will step up.

Cant remember the result of any match I played effecting the bus trip home.

    Refereeing decisions

No issue with the new law. I've just always seen it as an anomaly.

    Refereeing decisions

I've always been unsure why there is a difference for a general play kick and a dropped goal (in terms of outcome if it goes dead). Streamline it and just have the same law. It first really noticed the law in 2007 when Steyn kicked two against us.

    Refereeing decisions

Need to change the law on the dropped goal to be in line with a kick in general play. If it misses it is a scrum to the defending team from where it was kicked. High skill, high risk, high reward

    Playing his 200th test.

    Waratahs 2022

Anyone see the social media training video from today. Looks like Mahe Vailanu throwing a lineout (back of his head only so I could be mistaken). Great pickup if it is and it certainly makes sense

    Reds 2022

Petaia's main play is to skip outside, fend and go around. Wing reduces his space to do this.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Wouldn't be surprised to see Slipper get a rest. Koroibete is out. I'd expect JOC to start also.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

One management model is something McLennan has been working on (discussed this on the Breakdown last year also). It is Sports Australia's preferred model and something Twiggy has also spoken about (it is how we get him in the tent and to part with some $$$). Golf, Waterpolo, Sailing and Softball...

Isn't only the test against Japan outside of it?

He wont miss any JRLO games so it is really just the insurance issue.

    Waratahs 2022

Wow. Another thread complaining about the management of an organisation. Can we maybe seperate the threads from team news/ discussions and historical unhappiness with an organisation? FFS this is the Waratahs 2022 page. New head coach, new GM of rugby, new assistant coach all with club rugby ties.

How would you like to see NRC/ARC type comp?

Coffs population is about 70k, Newcastle is at about 300k as much as we all love the idea of "country" teams it just isn't financially feasible. For these competitions you are essentially relocating people for the entire period of the competition. Don't get me wrong one off games can work in...

The guy who isn't a standout playing QPR. No thanks.

The 22m call after the missed Lolesio penalty. Isn't that a goal line dropout?
