U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

I wonder if they will switch Joe Walsh and Boston Fakafanua during the game? I know Walsh played a bit of inside centre last year for NSW 16s, and didn't Fakafanua play both fullback and inside for Kings? I think Walsh is a top prospect but it's a tough gig to play him in a position he very...

    CAS Rugby 2023

Well done Waves, you've made us old-boys proud. I wonder if Waverley will get the chance to play against the winner of the Queensland GPS like Barker did last year?

You would probably know better WLF3, but I'm pretty sure that both Pats and Pius were invited to play in the CAS rugby comp in the early 80s. It was a shame that nothing came from it, but there is precedent. I'd have no issue if Oakhill, Auggies, and Pat's joined, after all, most of the CAS...

    CAS Rugby 2023

I have to admit, as a Waves old-boy, I don't take much enjoyment from seeing the results above. Back-in-the-day, the Knox fixture was always pencilled in as being one of the biggest games of the season for us. Whether it was under 10s to opens, the games were always hard but fair, but if you...

Well played Waves. I've watched them play a few games this year and they have improved dramatically since the Newington game. I don't want to bag Knox, but for a team that has so many CAS 1st and state players, they were 'bang' average today. The redhead flanker and the outside centre were...

    CAS Rugby 2023

Waves - 53 Greg's - 5 Credit to Greg's, they never gave up. All Waves players were good, but the giant loose head prop was outstanding. I think he may have scored a hat-trick with one of the tries being a 40-metre special.

Waves 38 St Augs 24 The 10 for St Augs is unreal. I have no idea of his name but he has everything - vision, speed, and a bullet-like pass. Without him, St Augs would not have scored much today. Their fullback has a crack though. As for the Waves, they'd be happy. They're a solid team but...

That's a solid effort from the Waves, considering the amount of talent that's unavailable due to injury. Also, got to give Oakhill some credit. That's a solid rugby program that they are developing over there.
