So the win is making all the headlines in Portugal.
Great for the growth of the game there!!
This is the frontpage of the Number 1 Football selling newspaper in Portugal - 900,000 readers per day - been around since 1945.
Definitely first time rugby has knocked off a football (soccer) headline...
What a win!
So stoked for Portugal.
Hoping that the game will only get stronger over there on the back of this performance and that football is knocked off the front of the sporting media for a short period of time.
Few players will now retire and the coach has stood down, hopefully they can...
I am Australian born to Portuguese parents but of course my loyalties lie with the Wallabies and whilst I'll be super pissed in the unlikely scenario they will lose, a little bit of me would be happy for Portugal.
Just to correct you, not 5 but 10 of the Portuguese squad were born in France...
I don't know if you can consider 4 losses to be unlucky...
Good luck to them next year
Waverley will still be strong
Knox in a Centenary year
Barker will do what Barker normally does
Trinity the unknown but building from lower age groups
Aloys unfortunately will make up the numbers
Good morning everyone
I have a question and I am sure someone here will be able to answer and apologies if it has been covered off before.
I have just been onto the Shute Shield website and they have listed the finals games as follows:
My question centres around - Playoff Round 2 - The Loser...
I love a good bacon and egg roll or steak roll at school rugby.
Oakhill has been the best so far although I didn't try the coffee as I am not a risk taker when it comes to coffee
So far my rating on schools this year (only 3 away games so far)...
Riverview was average and expensive.
there will definitely be teething problems with a transition to co-ed and the same will be experienced at Cranbrook when they start to transition but the goal for these to schools should be to have a similar rugby program (and BBQ) as Oakhill.
