    Northern Hemisphere/6N Rugby

Top 14 gets reaaal interesting the weekend after. Final four weeks of regular season. And three teams locked together on the bottom rung. Top 14 has automatic relegation for #14, direct swap with champion of ProD2. Then #13 finisher goes into a winner takes all against the ProD2 second placed...

    Northern Hemisphere/6N Rugby

NH rugby entering pointy end of things, pretty exciting. Champions Cup semi finals this weekend is funnily enough probably least exciting of the next few weeks. Leinster v Northampton Northampton are out of the Premiership race, so they've been focusing entirely on this game but still, the...

    Aussie Player Exodus

So I guess the next junction is in 3 years time, if he's playing well, we offer him less money to leave the the South of France for Wallaby gold...

    Wallabies 2025

And there you go, Fin has played over 100 professional games and Tom has just over 30.

    Wallabies 2025

Fin could start from game 1. M. Smith hasn't been playing much flyhalf for England, often fullback or supersub. Fin is who I hope Lynagh can become in a year or two. edit: despite Fin being actually older than Tom.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Fuck them French. Thouuuugh, if we can somehow ensure that he stays eligible for Aus then I’m actually okay with this. there isn’t a better academy in the world right now, they’ve developed so many of the world’s best players and also attract the best talent. They made a champion out of...

    Queensland Reds 2025

Has Dave put his boots on this season?

    Queensland Reds 2025

A lot of pressure goes to Paengea-Amosa, he'd be the next starter. Then I like the looks of Dolly and Pollard but very green for a Lions scrum.

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

I've put my pitchfork away for now, that's a good outcome. Reds happy, Wallabies happy, continuity in place. Surely we have to fuck this up somehow.

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

you're just jealous you have Suncorp instead of the glorious Tarneit Colosseum.

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

Classic selfish Reds sabotaging Australian Rugby again

Fuck didn't know about Faessler, pretty important for the Wallabies.

Any chance we'll see Petaia back next season? Or if union it'll be euro/yen?

    Queensland Reds 2025

Yep missed Jock on 2025, I would add him to my list of Daugunu, Uru, Hodgman as high priority. I semi expect Mason to retire from rugby.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Really? It actually looks pretty decent to my eye. Get Daugunu, Uru, Hodgman locked down and that's a great team. Then Asiata, JTA (Jeffery Toomaga-Allen), Blyth, Thomas and Flook next batch of targets and if you keep 2 or 3 of them then you're gravy.

Brumbies v Hurricanes Rd 11 Sat 26th April @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

That was a grim performance. The Rebels boys Canberra picked up are not great. Feliuai is still less than average. Combine that with wingers that need coaxing into the game and Lolesio who was very uninspiring you get Wright and Ikitau carrying the backline which isn't enough.

    Reds v Blues Rd 11 Fri 25th April 2025

Fuck yeah. What a great win. Could’ve been very different if the Blues knew how to actually put the ball down but Reds deserve all the plaudits there. Made a very big, All Black laden backline look weak and ineffective. Ioane and Telea are used to steamrolling people and they got nuffin’. Thank...

    Crusaders v Blues a.k.a. NZ's festum odii

He’s clearly the best flyhalf in NZ atm

    Waratahs 2025

Leota & Gleeson (and Hanigan & Holloway) are big losses tough to fill. Happy Leota is going to Bayonne and not some Japanese club. Bayonne is becoming a fun club to support: Leota, Hodge, Manu Tuilagi and punching well above their weight.
