    Brumbies 2011

I think their is a player who can go 75 if not 100m to score a try and that would be Henry Speight. He has a Step, pure speed and is strong in defense...remembering he was 2nd only to Jack Lam for Waikato in Turn Over ball won at the Ruck, still pretty raw but If I was to pick a back three who...

    Brumbies 2011

I am in agreeance, I think Vaea is a good option to back up Hoiles @ No8...even a bench spot....could make an impact off the bench. I think the back three is light on experience but could be very dangerous...Maybe a back three of Lealiifano, McCabe and Speight..

    Brumbies 2011

Mail is half the Brumbies will be on the move (Dependant if they are off contract) to Europe. Gits, Hoiles, Hand, Alexander, Moore, Valentine, Ashley-Cooper and possible Elsom to rejoin Leinster......but thats only mail, not confirmed or fact yet. There will be alot of movement. I have heard at...

    Brumbies 2011

Dawes polled well in McDougall but was not and is not regarded by the coaches, hence why he was cut. Patterson during season was invited to all Skills sessions with contracted players with Brumbies.

    Brumbies 2011

Thats what the forum is for, for good discussion, I do rate Nic White...he is very smart, specially round the ruck, my issue with him is his speed of the pass, probably not as strong a passer as Patterson but a hell of a lot better than Phibbs. Phibbs on his last legs I hear. Prediction...

    Brumbies 2011

one of the issues with this Academy here in Canberra, dont give players enough of a chance to prove themselves...He was good, probably needed another year to learn his craft coming from a League Background, but went well..He got Cut from Brumbies and is back in Sydney.

    Brumbies 2011

Royals, Vikings, Whites, Eagles, Uni Norths and Easts, teams with a good blend of Polynesian Flair...love watching all those teams play, good blend of talent mixed with Island Flair.

    Brumbies 2011

He was elevated due to his performances from last season and this season with U20s, I think you will see that in games played, Royals vs Whites, even though Whites won both games, Patterson was more dominant, in fact most games, Patterson was dominant Halfback, hence why most coaches in the comp...

    Brumbies 2011

you would expect young Crook to play in the Canberra comp, but I would be unsure as to who he will go to, due to the Brumbies Development staff being coaches at club level too, I would expect either Uni Norths or Gungahlin as have been in the past.....last year, most Academy players went to...

    Brumbies 2011

Also, maybe if your interested in Club Rugby in Canberra, keep an eye out for new recruits coming into the region from both within and outside Brumbies Academy, players of note obvoiusly Pama Fou but also Kelemedi Vosuga from Souths Bris both joining Vikings, Elvis Levi thought to be joining...

    Brumbies 2011

Very elusive but very Raw winger, still has a lot of defensive issues that comes with his lack of experience but should get better with time. I still rate a player like Aufaga Lafaele who played with Royals and Easts who was probably the premier winger in the comp a few seasons back. But...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

I know a few Canberra Players are returning to Melbourne such as Afa Amosa, Melbourne Lesa to be part of this Academy as well as Seilala Lam....from reports...

    Shute Shield 2011

Im a novice in this discussion or argument, but is it really that hard for the ARU to have a NATIONAL CLUB COMPETITION, obviously financially it would be pretty hard but if you could get around that, how hard could it be? Having clubs from Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Any idea on when the Rebels will release the names of their Academy Squad?

    Brumbies 2011

My starting side would be: Valentine, To'omua, Giteau, Ashley-Cooper, McCabe, Speight, Lealiifano Coleman to back up Gits, Either Fainifo or Wara to back up the wingers, White as backup Halfback, Phibbs shouldnt even be in the Brumbies. Tyrone Smith to be the MidField Back up.
