I wonder how long compulsory 2 sports will continue for senior athletes who play 1st grade .. playing senior rugby is pretty much a year round sport now … having to do cricket, basketball etc just for the sake of it seems detrimental… I do know some schools allow elite rugby players to do all...

One day into this world cup, and from the mainstream and social media coverage and it’s evident how big the game is globally .. being in Australia we are so insular with the other domestic sporting comps … we really do forget this .. it’s a shame… It should really inspire us to grow the game...

I know this is petty … but … you would never see a current league coach wearing Rugby merchandise… it seems that public narrative is that Rugby fans hate league, yet in reality it’s the complete opposite..

Geography is everything.. lack of tribalism is one of MAJOR reasons why rugby isn’t as big as could be in Australia… for some reason this has never been addressed.. there’s a reason why Joeys and Riverview can fill out a NRL stadium and club rugby can’t … it’s a sense of belonging and culture...
