Australia Vs Argentina, September 13, Gold Coast

Not sure why it's a clean out when in general play and obstruction/penalty when it's on the try line. Rules don't distinguish based on the location of the ruck. Having said that I was surprised at the criticism Simmons got last week as if he didn't take out the defender at the ruck the gap...

Because the carbonated beverage you consume fills you with gas, which is then expelled through a constriction at your lower end causing you to bounce off the walls with a ppfffttt like sound?

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

To be fair the key difference is who is in the bin. Lose a 4/5 and your scrum is screwed. Lose a back rower (or a front rower who can be swapped for a flanker) and you might get away with it.

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

That was my initial reaction, however in fairness many of the inside breaks were not Beale missed tackles. The Abs seemed to have more close in runners than we had defenders, or we got out of alignment and they put someone through the gap. Need to watch the game again with a closer eye on our...

Not sure the pack will change. We probably have our best cattle already on the paddock and they manned up pretty well last week before their collective nap last night. They just need to harden the fuck up and play more like Bled 1.

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Problem is 90% of Australians are not rugby supporters and wouldn't have got past the first line. Those that continue to read (and those on this forum) are already doing what is suggested. The real issue is how to make the game more appealing to the masses against a number of rival codes whose...

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Couldn't have said it better myself. It was such a dominant display by the ABs that once you gave up any chance of winning, it was almost a pleasure to watch - in a perverse sort of way. It also meant the couple of errors by poite raised nothing more than a wry smile rather than some all...

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Did anyone else notice how many of those 14 clean breaks were through the inside backs? No sure if it was a defensive back line issue or a loose forward issue but almost every time they turned the ball back inside they made a clean break. It looked to me like Hansen had done some analysis of...

IRB stats - which incidentally have Australian numbers less than a third of what you have posted. Surely you can do better than wiki??

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Its not a cop out. New zealand has more than double the number of registered rugby players than Australia and is second only to England in terms of player numbers. So many of those hard nuts to which you refer grow up playing mungoball The focus NZ has on its rugby is awesome but unfortunately...

You might want to have a chat with hansen about that one. Seems he sees it a bit differently: "The first one was pretty clear cut," Hansen conceded. "Crocky got offside, then got offside again so he went to the naughty boy's chair.

    Reds v Rebels, Sat May 17 @ 7:40

They gave up the points on two other occasions during the match and it didn't result in a try. He would have been crucified if they had lost 27-24. Having said that he probably made all three choices the wrong way around.

    Reds v Rebels, Sat May 17 @ 7:40

Why is it unbelievable? Who have the reds got this season that are genuine line breakers? Who draws more than one defender because of their attacking ability? Who's the go to guy when you need a try at the death....
