Some of the Colts teams will be a little lighter on this weekend with a lot of the u18 talent out, with the Reds u18 trials games on at Ballymore this Sunday arvo… The Reds u18 team/s then play the Waratahs u18s two weeks later at Ballymore of which should be a cracking game to watch!

I saw the Norths vs Brothers Colts1 game yesterday & thought the score line didn’t really reflect how hard the Norths team dug in, to keep in the game… They looked dangerous in attack, but run out of puff, letting Brothers open them up..

Have enjoyed watching a few of trials & select games from the first two rounds of Colts 1&2. Souths, Brothers & Easts looking very strong early with Bond & SunnyBank showing some early improvement in depth this year… they just have to be able to hold it for the whole game. Will be a good season...

Bond covers & is a feeder for talent from the gold coast no doubt, so both toowoomba and the sunny coast could be options. There is probably enough talent in both of those areas as they lose their talent to brisbane each year and similarly rugby league have no problem keeping talent there with...
