I was thinking more that the team that finishes top is all but guaranteed the trophy under the current rules because they also have home advantage. Obviously not guaranteed but it is a bit procession-y. if its so stacked in the top teams favour just make them winners (eg EPL).

I wouldn't be that shocked not to see Kerevi. Think he sorta blew his audition last year (although he actually looked good while on the field).

The benefit of a seven is they are typically the most athletic player on the field and can compensate for less athletic, though perhaps bigger players around them. If you carry a replacement for your 7 you kind of waste that advantage.

As much as I rate Samu I think he's not really the type of player the Waratahs need. Better get for the Wallabies than the Waratahs. Philip on the other hand is an excellent procurement.
