Has the JSRU already been thrown overboard?

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Do Cranbrook play in the Scots sevens, if not, then maybe with Scots attending that the teams might be more even. (Also, can we assume that as 1st and 2nd XV games are at Easts they can go ahead no matter how much rain falls tonight?)

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Off topic: I Wonder if a "no contact" above shoulders would rule out the header in soccer (i.e. force a rule or ball design change)? Probably on the 'threats' list for FIFA due to the brain impact it can have.

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

Hopefully never a 6-2 bench again from Cotter.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Don't both Vic Rugby and Rebels both have (had?) a vote as RA Union members?

    Australian Rugby / RA

Yes, I get that - but I'd suggest that either it could have been moved, or re-purposed to focus on the immediate future (which may well have been some of the discussion) and that the comms could have been a bit more nuanced to acknowledge that the elephant in the room is being addressed. It...

    Australian Rugby / RA

Pretty clear from this statement that the intent is to ignore the realities of the present and work on fucking up the whole next 10 years. Who has a strategy summit when one of it's members is imploding and swnging punches at the umbrella organisation...

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

I'm waiting for stan/sky to allow us to mute specific commentators. I'd personally mute Justin Harrison and keep SBW, but would mute all for a feed from ref mic and that only.

Pretty good match at 8.30min. Although Enari 3 box kicks is a bit much.

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

What the hell was the bloody 'spiders' thing they kept coming back to? I couldn't understand the reference or gag. SBW must have been reading the dictionary in the off season, some pretty big words there. To be honest, I thought SBW was the best commentator they had (JK seemed to say nothing...

Jipper is James Parsons - first time I've seen on the Sky team. Definitely a step above Joe Wheeler!!!

@Dismal Pillock interested in your thoughts on Ta'avao's on field performance and Jipper's commentary.

I thought Cranbrook had a trial game against Scots on May 4th?

Auckland Blues To Infinity and Beyond

I watched the whole game and was really surprised about Patty - nothing seems untowards during the game. Also, the Japanese commentators seem to love Corey Evans (who I thought had a brilliant run).

    NSW AAGPS 2024

I reckon if Tahs had their stuff together we'd see some trial games played as curtain raisers to the Tahs Super games during the trial period - especially some CAS v GPS school games. I find it hard to believe the schools would say no to a run for their 1st XV at Allianz stadium during trial weeks.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

If it's like last year, it's not round robin - but Scots 1st XV playing 1 schools 1st XV while the 2nd XV play the other schools 1st XV. (This all just from the season fixture published on the school hub, I don't have any other knowledge beyond what was posted on the fixture list!)

Scots: 6th April: Scots 7s & Cranbrook (H) May 4th: Kings (A) May 11th: Stannies & Scots All Stains Bathurst (A) Then Round 1 with Kings at Home.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

According to Scots season fixtures there is a trial round against Cranbrook on 6th April (same day as Scots 7s). Don't know anything beyond the fixture printed and shared via the school hub.
