Anti GPS? Not at all. I’d say that no matter what colour jersey is being worn- and trust me I have in previous years.
The touchie went to see to an injured player that was closer to his side than where their medic was standing. Sure hindsight is a great thing and should’ve stayed where he was...
I think there's a little bit of difference to 'at least one fresh prop' and a whole fresh front row, particularly when GPS 2nd grade is currently in 7th place and their 3rd grade is battling to hold onto 4th place.
Have just watched the footage and it is horrendous for both clubs involved. My thoughts:
1) the GPS player should have stayed away while the injured Brothers player was being attended to, no matter what she thought she heard being said. Time to grow up and act like a Premier Grade player. I've...
Can anyone confirm if Josh Collins got given the blue card on the weekend? He didn't look good in the first moments after the ref stopped the game. I didn't see the blue card being shown though but the camera may have moved away.
Let me guess - some idiot from the Glue Factory? I feel that they, along with The Butchery for Brothers, tend to frequently step over the line of vocal support into unacceptable abuse by the end of the game (usually assisted by liquid courage).
It is unusual for a winning team to react to the...
I see Easts still have a mathematical chance but would need bonus point wins over Souths & Norths these next 2 weeks before their bye. And also hope GPS/ Wests / Bond / Brothers / Uni cannabilise each other over the same time to keep the faithful believing.
Random question here.
Any chance that people could post their club song lyrics? I enjoy hearing the enthusiasm of the winners singing it at the end of their game, however 90% of the words seemed garbled to the spectators.
No surprises with results this week, except the blowout at Sunnybank. Ouch.
Is it my imagination or is Eli Pilz off the boil this year with his kicking for goal? I swear he seemed to have had a radar on his boot last year.
Easts v Brothers next week could be significant for both teams to get...
A friend was at the field and said it looked like a bad injury. He was also quite impressed with seeing both medical teams quickly working together to help the player.
And can anyone confirm that apparently a corner post was used to help immobilise the leg?? If that's true it's McGyver level...
Not sure what question to ask here. It's either 'what happened to the Brothers scrum?' or 'what's going going on with the Uni scrum?'. Or maybe both?
A full 80min by both Uni props v a merry-go-round of Brothers props changes. From what I could see Uni only lost 1 scrum at the end, and that...
Can I say that those last 10 mins of the game was the dumbest 10mins of rugby I’ve seen GPS play.
Who denies taking an easy 3 points with 6-7 minutes to go? You’d receive the ball again from the kickoff and then trust your team to get back down there and either score or be rewarded with another...
Added onto the game v UQ last year where he chose the lineout option instead of a penalty kick, where he had been 100% all day. We all know the history from there.
Heard ASY (Angus Scott-Young) had the fastest appeal in QPR history tonight?
Ended in the whole case tossed out, cleared to play this week. Sounds like he should've played last week.
Wests should be ashamed of the whole debacle.
Despite the extra year now allowed in Colts GPS has only fielded 2 Colts teams this year (along with Sunnybank), and both GPS colts teams are in 6th place on their respective ladders with 3 games and a bye left of their season. I've never seen that happen with either club with both lack of...
