Both teams are coming off wins in Melbourne, and looking for the nxt victory.
The Rebels scored a big win against Moana in 2023, but won't have it as easy this time around.
Even this early in the season, a must-win for both teams.
Time to turn our attention to this week - super round!
No callouts on injuries or returning players, from what I've seen, from the Rebels, at least. What would you change n the Rebels side?
Jordie Barrett took a decent knock last week - is he right for Friday? I'm happy if it shakes a little...
Big one this weekend. Rebels likely to lose Genia, Tahs without Hunt. Rebels come off a good win against the Sunwolves, the Tahs a loss against the Pumas Jaguares.
Super exited for this one.
Fairly simple here. Rebels lose, and i think our chances of making the finals are over.
Where do we start? What changes do we need to make to our gameplan for this match? Need to be honest about the things that worked, and what didn't work against the Bulls.
Do we bring back Uelese and...
Aussie derby time. Love it.
Reds with some confidence after sending the ponies off to the glue factory.
Rebels back in the country, looking to get back into the winner's circle.
Who wants this win more?
As we dust ourselves off from the Lions loss, time to reshape for the Shorks.
Yes we belted them at home last year, but playing in SA is a completely different story.
Last time, both teams played out a 9-all draw, with a Reece Hodge boomer dealing the draw.
What's gonna happen this week?
With the season 2019 draw released, seems like a good time to start this thread.

Back at the Stockade, YAAAS!
Before you rate our chances, a reminder of past glories.
2012
2015
In this video, you can audibly hear the voice of Justin Marshall actually break.
So, how do you rate our chances peeps?
Rebels coming off a hearbreaking loss. Bulls coming of a big win against the Shorks.
Working against the Rebels: altitude, in-form Bulls, loss of Genia, no ins in the republic (yet).
Working for us: WE'RE THE REBELS AND WE CAN DO ANYTHING (blind faith is a good thing), potential complacency...
Righto, back on the bike gents.
After a torrid encounter with the bye, we host the Jaguares. According to reports they were competitive against the 'Saders, so I don't expect this to be any walk in the park. Should be a good match.
Lovely Saturday afternoon of Rugby. And remember, it's...
Get an early start on the thread.
First update: The Rebels have announced the "Victoria Axemen" are returning. Looks like a Rising B team. Not sure how it will be funded.

Both teams coming off horrible losses from the previous round. The Rebels still have the SANZAAR guillotine over its neck, and a meeting on Thursday could even decide the club's fate for 2018.
But, the Rebels seem to thrive under adversity. don't they, Brumbies?
No news on teams yet, but...
So, Rebels fans, how do you think we will go?
Shorter turnaround for the 'Canes, yes. But, look what they did to the Sunwolves...
The Rebels expect a number of players back from injury, boosting depth in key positions. Looks like Jonah will be out for some time with that ankle injury...
First game for the Rising. W/L currently 2-zip to the Rising.
Rising were good in patches last week, but handling and execution let them down. Country was soundly beaten by the Vikings.
I expect a tighter performance from the Rising this weekend. Zane would have worked on execution, and...
Ok, time to put the Bulls match behind us and focus our energy on the Reds.
The are 0 from 2 and in a world of pain.
We've travelled a lot in the last few weeks. There are a number of injury concerns. We need an uplift in our basic skills and handling.
But, this is our FIRST HOME GAME...
Rising have lost Jones, Shipperly to injury. Cummings starts at 6 and Douglas comes into the bench.
Vilitati starts on the left wing, Ili moves to the right wing and Masters moves to the bench. Johansson moved to IC, Tuipulotu moves to OC.
Will be a tough match for the Rising. They...
Righto, the equation is fairly simple here.
We win - make it to the finals
We lose with a BP - likely to make it, hoping other results go our way.
We lose with no BP - we're out
Hoping that we have a full squad to pick from because it's going to be a torrid battle. They will bring a good...
The Rugby roadshow takes itself to Morwell this weekend as the Rising take on the Rams. The Rising survived a horrid encounter against the bye, the Rams a loss to QLD Country.
Match day information can be found here.
I'd expect the Rising to bring back a few of its Super Rugby players from...
Last match for both teams this season. Last time we will see Higgers, PAE and Cadeyrn in Rebels colours.
The Rebels are promoting superhero round. If you fancy a new jesery the Rebels are promoting a superman jesery for the match. The main difference is a...you guess it a big Superman...
Moving on from last week, the Rebels now have a chance to notch their first win in SA against a very depleted Sharks outfit. I think this is the Rebels best chance to break the SA duck, provided we can get our heads right after the Stormers match.
Expect that Smith, Naivalu and Ellison will...
