Excatly right he has well and truely earned his respect in the rugby community one of the great coaches the aic has ever seen. As soon as he leaves Eddie’s there success stops excatly same at Marist there’s a trend im seeing
I think that is a bit harsh MCA’s captain and vice captain both went off in the first half injured and didn’t return although I do agree they have no respect for the opposition by not taking the points when they are offered of penalties but instead going for 7 which was costly. Not sure what is...
Without a doubt padua seem to lack sparks and size in the backline which could hurt them though the SLC 12 is just another level above everyone there 13 gets made look good because of him
Milesy would have had his firsts squad training since last year instead they looked like they had been training for a month and it shows with the lack of chemistry and execution through the team. No big set pieces the lineout wasn’t brilliant. A postive for MCA was there scrumming though.

couldnt agree more MCA backline couldn’t get anything going only one try off a scrum set piece other than that it was all hard work the mca big boys with lots of feild position SLC’s way
Jeez rough assessment on Padua I had them in my top 4 this year and Iona are going to a strong team to beat. The likes of Andrew de jager and Mitch Ross will lead the padua forward pack definitely a very good chance to be a wildcard team this year and knock off schools such as Laurie’s and MCA
I agree, pat Gavin definitely out? They have seemed to try last years fullback pat tierny at 10 and that hasn’t worked so they shifted him back to 15 on Saturday. Wasn’t able to create much as the 10 they played wasn’t doing the job at hand will be interesting to see what they do with the...
Just finished watching the Marist villa trial game. End score was 28-26 to Marist after a try in the last few minutes to get them over the line. Marist prop and returning player Harry gould was running water aswell as Toby Anderson and pat Gavin, all looked fine and should be playing next week...
Looks like a strong side ASH better be ready in round 1 and all the other schools better be to. It is shaping up to be a great season of footy and a close one I believe. do we have any predictied lineups or team lists from the ballymore cup?
