Great call HeavyD. Alot of players seemingly prefer to have the kit and say they play for the Rats or Stags rather than actual play the game. Cost of living doesnt seem as much of a problem for those guys who prefer to pay $500 rego for a Shute club than $200-300 for subbies. Or $150 as I saw...

Predictions - St Pats to have qualified to return to Div 1 mid way through the season. Lindfield to surprise a few in the lower grades, which may do enough to keep them in the top division. Will jag a win or 2 in 1st grade, but can see a few players drop off once the wins dry up.

I saw this as well. Their game against Eastwood started close, but with 60 points put up in 14 minutes, seems like they may have been slightly out of their depth. As most subbies clubs would be against Shute Shield calibre player.
