Big congrats to Trinty on an epic win today. The game was a real nail biter and the difference was the goal kicking of Trinty 9. Some great play from Barker 1, 4, 7, 9, 12 and 15. Trinty 8 was outstanding especially for the try under the posts, also their 7 and 15 went well.
A couple of very...
Seriously again if you going to state things as fact show the evidence. At no point did any Barker player approach the linesman, they all asked the referee to check with him. The referee as he did multiple times throughout the game beckoned the linesman to come to talk to him and asked if the...
If you’re going to cite video evidence then post it up for all to see and then don’t embellish what happens to make your point. The ref blew the whistle as the Barker player dives for the try not 5 seconds before.
I wouldn’t read too much into the loss to Auggies, was very much used as a training run and took a few key players off at half time incl LeM and Klem which let Auggies back in who kept their first choice team on
Well done to Waverley their goal line defence got them over the line. Should be a number of boys from both teams in the CAS squad tonight. Defence from both teams was impressive.
So a private school with huge fees is struggling for resources?? Have you seen the Rosewood centre and the S&C team? Barker has been coed years 10-12 for a long time yes but only recently has that extended to the younger years.
Comparison or number of boys per year would be interesting for sure...
Oh dear all showing your age a bit. Offering multiple winter sport options isn’t woke. If you want kids to play rugby then promote it and make it attractive to them, you dont make a deep rugby program by forcing kids to play it. Barker is a co-Ed school so won’t have the same number of teams as...
No1 it wasn’t a spear tackle, No2 the yellow card was on the touch judges report of a shoulder charge which yes was harsh but wasn’t the refs call. All the ref bashing is frankly embarrassing.
Thanks for sharing and great that he got the field goal but the ref had the arm out for a penalty so if he missed it they would still have had a shot to win the game. Still a great skill to execute
They won by 6 tries to 1 and 30+ points so not a huge margin but still good. Missing a couple of players and travelling long distance in a day they were always going to be rusty. Can’t see Aloys getting within 40 points. Depends on how many subs are brought on in the 2nd half by Barker
