Thought I'd give a little early preseason prediction heading into the 2024 season before logging off for Christmas. Keen to see how right this will be and is based across all AAGPS, CAS, and ISA respective competitions

I watched Auggies last week against Oakhill, they are one of the more exciting teams to watch this year. They shift the ball around a lot and take many opportunities throughout the game that keeps the defense on their toes. They have a similar playing style to the All Blacks. The constant ball...
This is a really clever approach Mule. It's a great way to get the whole school involved, no matter whether it is the A or E teams, every point counts. I like it.
Hence merge ISA and CAS but we've already been around this merry-go-round once before. Would work perfectly with a 2 tier competition and would create much more captivating games throughout both tiers. An Aloys vs bottom ISA teams would be close every year and Aloys may perhaps be very...
Auggies v Oakhill Game Report
It was a fantastic day for rugby out at Castle Hill yesterday, Oakhill's proud gala day was in full swing as students and parents were gathered around fun rides and Oakhill's famous barbecue. After a 2nd XV nail-biter went in Auggies favour, it was time for the big...
Cranbrook also lost to Trinity though... it seems as though the hype was not lived up to as people on this forum believed they would win CAS, they have a few promising players but they just couldn't gel together to get past Waverley and Trinity. Disappointing.

Oakhill went down to Cranbrook today 37-28, despite Oakhill leading halfway through the second half 28-26. Cranbrook switched back on and late tries blew out Oakhill's candle. Similar score difference to the one of Cranbrook and Auggies a while ago, Oakhill and Auggies might go down to the wire...
Turinui and Standfield were phenomenal. What is with the CAS selection process? The way Turinui controlled the game at 10 looked too natural to him, why wasn't he the CAS 1 or 2 flyhalf? Maybe they need to revert to internal trials where they can see how top players perform against each other.
Agreed, awesome gritty game. Thought a few more ISA boys got unlucky to miss out on Gen Blue and schools teams, I guess that's just how it all works out though. Boys should be giving themselves a pat on the back for leading against a much more sizeable GPS outfit. Only shows improvement...
