I'd push back on a law that puts additional work on the referee - counting phases and then having to make a snap decision sounds like a small addition, but it's all ready one of the hardest games to officiate. Also, at least with current law the ref rarely gets it wrong!
Do Cranbrook play in the Scots sevens, if not, then maybe with Scots attending that the teams might be more even.

Yes, I get that - but I'd suggest that either it could have been moved, or re-purposed to focus on the immediate future (which may well have been some of the discussion) and that the comms could have been a bit more nuanced to acknowledge that the elephant in the room is being addressed.

I watched the whole game and was really surprised about Patty - nothing seems untowards during the game.
Also, the Japanese commentators seem to love Corey Evans (who I thought had a brilliant run).
