Well if this is true then Joeys will have a well balanced crew. Although from what i have seen about Smeaton (J), he doesn't seem the biggest in size but after watching the replay of the yarrala cup i can confirm his technique is up to standards. I dont think that Joeys in the 24/25 season will...
Leg,
I did some digging and i have been lead to believe that Williams (J) the bow man of Joeys viii was 5 foot 4 inches (162 centimeters). This is truly a large feat for the young man especially at his small stature and rowing in a major rennie winning crew!

I have heard that Ciezolka (J), both Molonys (J), Williams (J) are repeating as they are a year young (born in 2007). I feel this is very unethical for Joeys to do this and discards students morals. Besides this, Joeys 1st 8 next year will be very experienced. Obviosly Kings 1st 8 next year will...
They are strong but lack a few seconds off their split in the middle 1000. From what I have heard, they have been struggling with injuries etc recently. Considering they have been losing to Newingtons 2nd VIII, I wouldn't think they are very good.

Word of the grape vine is that Matias (J) has the best Peach system score? My life long mate who works at the Joeys boat sheds told me this over a beer, he told me that the Joeys boys are "in it to win it", but I think that Kings will gonna do it again and win HOTR. I believe this because Joeys...
Not my question to answer, but i believe that shore will be winning this race. Word around the block they have their 2nd iv with quote 'new combinations with an average course time of 6:44' (@The Prophet ). If this is true then i would expect something of a 'christmas miracle' course time on...
A great weekend of racing and a massive well done to the Riverview VIII for winning. Very surprised to see Riverview not get the clean sweep in the fours, with St Josephs taking the win in the 2nd IV race. Additionally, does anyone know how much Kings boat repair is going to set them back, and...
does anyone have information regarding why the Kings VIII have scratched almost all of their races? Super keen to see them race and have a crack at both the joeys viii and riverview!
reminds me of when sydney grammar scratched their first year 10 viii and put them in the 3rd viii race and dominated. beating the View crew that had been constantly winning all 2023 season. no general surprises kings would stack a boat for a singular win through their shed.
I agree with this. shore may have had a rocky start but they are better than 7th. i believe they are in for 4th place behind kings, joeys riverview. thoughts?
