This is the most sense I've seen on this thread to date. I'm a proud terrace old boy but I completely agree with you. I might add I'm still ashamed of that dark day in gps history. Disgraceful.
Mate the gt 13gs are very much like the 2012 senior b debating team from terrace. They'll beat you in manner, matter and method and most of all i expect them to ruin your minuscule chance of a premiership

Thank you spikhaza, some sense finally. Nudgee take indigenous affairs very seriously, as do igs. I think it was the igs round lasts yr when they wore that jersey. It's a shame they aren't wearing the butcher stripes for tradition etc but it's for a good cause
Oh ffs people 8 players moving up in each division is a nightmare for coaches. You have 8 new faces in the team and you essentially have to start from scratch in terms of tactics etc. the same thing happened last yr during this round due to the rep trials. Both schools involved, nudgee was one...
Oh sorry mate holy hell that's ridiculous...why can't they reschedule the game of something? I believe this kind of thing happened last yr in one match. Not sure which one. On the other hand, moving 8 players up to the a's then disrupts your entire age group..every team is affected and playing...

8 players is more than half a team champ. This is just an example of terrace wanting to unfairly snatch a win from nc..If gt had 8 players at rep trials they would do the same.
I've seen him play a fair bit. He has great control of his outside backs and is a leader on the paddock. He's skilful and has consistently made rep teams growing up, shouldn't be a surprise to see him with top rep honours
Basketball programs are far weaker across the gps and more importantly in qld, soccer and rugby don't go hand in hand. There's always been an internal rivalry at schools between soccer and rugby players. As for soccer being played on the hallowed turfs that have been the home pf rugby for years....
Rugby program strength is always a good talking point that's fair enough. I think a lot of the time you get relatives of 13s and 14s players talking the talk, proud as punch
