Tim Horan getting off the fence in the post match chat and for once having a forceful opinion tells me how bad that decision was. Less of that shite Monsieur Ref and more of that honesty Mr Horan please.
Seems to put in a lot of effort to turn up on the field where he is least required….
can someone explain to me the benefits of the box kick…? Seems to be a slow count to 10 and ‘you can have the ball back’

Wow....
Someone check the refs Sportsbet account. That was horrible.
Hegarty cut your shoe off. Best advice head back to club land with a no kicking plan and re learn the other options.
Henry and Paisami need to work together in D, hang tight and stop looking for the ‘big’ hit.
Taniela a...
I did not see the game but GPS bringing on a fresh front row with 30 minutes to play ?
Can someone please confirm that they contested the scrum in Reggies
Great crowd tight game could have gone either way at the kennel tonight in the FNF GF. But best moment of the night was the young girl behind the bar giving the manager a full spray with queues extending 30m and bugger all staff. Your efforts much appreciated in a stressful situation.
Why is the Uni v Wests game tomorrow? Surely it is not because the Reds exclusion bubble finishes at midnight tonight for club availability. Just sayin....
The Yoku Rd Virus has proved contagious at St Lucia. Uncontested scrums starting in all grade games excepting Prems where a full reserve front row was used.
Across a few points from w/end. (Jeeps v Bros)
Backy was at GPS helping the Refs. Not sure if that was an official QRU role ?
The penalty try was valid. The Jeeps no 8 would have scored if the ref had not blown the whistle.
The Brothers right wing has a mandatory 2 weeks sideline (HIA)...
Jets. There was a meeting of club Presidents a week or so back and there was a push to have all games from 1 Aug to be played for points. Not sure of the outcome but had a brief chat with one of the Brothers Prem boys last weekend who thought it was game on from the first round.
Reg, when did you see that proposed draw come out? I had seen an excel sheet with a Plan A proposed 2 round comp starting July 4 sent out by email last week. The Plan B comp was I think what you have detailed above. Both were put together by Gavin Head - QRU Community Rugby.
As I understand it Brothers have a DA lodged and this has been funded (the lodgement) and is still proceeding. What happens when approval is obtained is another matter. I suspect any building works will not commence until things resume normality.
The bottom oval (field and lights only)...
I understand a few schools were asked (inc Nudgee) and were potentially accommodating. QRU/Ballymore were also approached but was cost prohibitive, particularly around catering 'lock 'ins'....a season of Newstead could have broken me.
The staged model was decided as the best approach. The full...
Staged project, so no need to move games /training. Top oval has already been levelled and relaid. Still a small drop away towards AB field but not as bad as previous. Bottom oval to be done end of this year. New lights on both. Terracing for bottom oval happening now (I think from driving...
borrowed ideas and funding model heavily from the successful Sylvan road project.

Are the QRU finally growing a set ?
